In August, the City of Troy held a community conversation event for residents in the surrounding neighborhoods to discuss a proposed concept by the League Sports Foundation for a baseball/softball complex.
City Council tasked City staff to engage with the surrounding neighborhoods around the property (3500 John R) to discuss this concept along with, garnering feedback from community members on any concerns. Additionally, City staff facilitated an open discussion to brainstorm other recreational ideas they would like to see at this site if not a baseball/softball complex.
