Gerald West, Professor of Biblical Studies at the University of Kwa-Zulu, gives the first of four lectures on the theme 'The Bible as a Site of Struggle'. These lectures are part of the 2018 De Carle Distinguished Lecture series and were hosted by the Centre for Theology & Public Issues.
