Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Purple Heart recipient, Jonathon Blank embodies the shared resilience of our armed service members. During his service, Jonathon sustained injuries that resulted in the loss of both his legs. Throughout his recovery, Jonathon searched for something that replicated the brotherhood, camaraderie and adventure he’d experienced as a Marine. He found what he was looking for in hunting. In the company of fellow Kansan, Cole Kramer, Jonathon took to the mountains of the Northwest Territories, home to an animal many hunters dream of, the Dall sheep. With the help of a few friends, Together We Carry On follows Jonathon’s journey to create new memories and meaning in his life.

Didn't know a hunting film could make my eyes water! As a sheep hunter, retired military, what everyone did for Jonathon keeps my faith in the hunting community, sheep hunters, and generous donors and volunteers! Thank you

Awesome video. I have worn @SITKAGear hunting apparel for many years. In the early part of 2020 I contacted Sitka with an idea to make a 3/4 length Polar-Tec sleep bag for my son to sit in while hunting with me. My son is paralyzed from his chest down and the cold really affects him. Sitka took my ramblings of ideas and made them into a warm hunting bag for my kid to use while hunting with me. I say all that to say this… the hunting community is awesome and hunting companies like Sitka and many others are great contributors to that awesomeness.

Thank you this film of strength and courage! It has come at a very difficult time for me. I was wound in the line of duty last July. I lost an eye and now have nerve damage to both arms. I have been finding my road back. This is my first to year to hunt again. I now know I can, after watching this incredible act of kindness and determination.

As an active-duty SERE guy, I understand exactly the kindred nature of the hunt to service. It gives us that moment to lock in, and not much outside of military life provides that. But to get to the point, Kramer is a real friend to do what he has done for Jonathon, a load like that is punishing, but that also secured a friend a lifelong memory and experience. Jonathon is what we all strive to be like as service members. Jonathon, Thank you for what you have done and the sacrifice. Your mentality, not just the title of Recon Marine makes you a true hero. Take care brother.

We have missed his 20th, 21st, 22nd and getting ready to be his 23rd birthday and so many holidays as it just breaks your heart when your a tight nit family as we are. The Foundation has been doing things for years to help provide opportunities for our Wounded Warriors who have served our country.
