This guy carries a whole bow shop in that emergency kit. Three releases… extra range finder… yards of serving and loop cord…

Hands down the best base layer is a mesh shirt. It breathes and transfers moisture like nothing else. Look it up, it really does work.

Hi. Can the blizzard parka be used when being active in lets say Zero Fahrenheit temperature ? Assuming i got a core lightweight shirt and ambient 100 hoodi under the parka. Will i be too hot and sweat with the parka and these layers? Thank you
@SITKAGear8 күн бұрын
Hey Leo, the gear should work in that temperature/environment. This is not a super breathable jacket though so if you are active enough that you are sweating it can be dangerous in those temps if you stop being active and that sweat can freeze. That temp range is what this was designed for, but there are risks of hunting in that temperature range that you should consider and be careful of. The layering pieces you mentioned would be good to have underneath.

I cant tell you how many bucks ive missed or made bad shots because of contact with my sleeve. Once i heard about sitka, i bought the fanatic right away. And havent looked back since. Its expensive ,but its an investment imo. It will last you years and years if you take care of it.

They can’t get a split screen setup? Or at least zoom to the target. People like seeing the arrows hit the target or not!

Accidents happen for sure. I was at my mom's old house couple weeks ago, no one has lived there in years, anyway I fell and put my hand through a glass vase that was sitting on floor. Thank the Good Lord the cut wasn't a half inch lower or I would have cut through the main veins in my wrist. Surprisingly I stayed calm, all I had was napkins from McDonald's in the car but they worked to help stop the bleeding. I'm a heart patient soni take blood thinners which wasn't helping. Good Lord took care of me for sure, I was able to make drive back home and get my wife and go to ER. Ended up with 9 stitches in my wrist and bottom of hand. Had one cut on my wrist that wasn't as bad and they glued it. Always be aware because accidents can and will happen

I just arrived back in Arkansas after walking 54.7 miles in Washington and Idaho. Carried eight diaphragm calls, three 20 gauge TSS shells, medium size pair of binoculars, a small compass, one turkey tote, a small headlight, one crow call and a bottle of water. Carried all of this in my pockets using two front shirt pockets, front pant pockets and two cargo pant pockets. Truth of the matter is, I need a small vest or a smaller version of the Turkey Tool Belt. I never carry a box call or any type of friction call. I wonder if the Belt can be slightly modified to empty my pockets...I do get tired of carrying my gear in stuffed pockets. I sometimes carry a Hook' Custom Calls owl hooter. I would enjoy a compact seat to keep me dry, I really don't need it for comfort, as I rarely sit very long in one place. The exception is on an onerous gobbler.
