From one of the best TV-Series ever and one of the very few pieces of music being available: richardmarvin net What a shame that this soundtrack (music by Richard Marvin) has never been released... DVD is available on amazon etc.

We will all drive away someday. I sure hope it is as peaceful as this music.

Watched all five seasons and this was a totally fitting track on the closing credits. There will never be another series like this.

2:23. So beautiful. It's the sound of subtle revelation. Which is what I think made Six Feet Under so profound. What a work of art.

Perfect track to roll during final credit. It's so peaceful and yet poweful. "Six Feet Under" always will be my number one tv show.

Almost 16 years ago I remember my dad saying he was going to tape the series finale, and about two years later when I started taping my shows, the first recording tape I put in had the end credits from the finale with the white background and this beautiful music, my dad passed away and last year when I finally saw the finale for myself, I relate to this music a whole different way, I love and miss my dad so much!! He got me into Six Feet Under saying how great of a show it was!! ♥️♥️🙏🙏

Sometimes i feel like Richard Marvin knew we would be both overwhelmed and cathartic at this point in the show. If you are familiar with the main themes, the pilot episode contains the start of this piece, and almost every mayor character arc development scene has it's theme embedded in these ending credits. It starts with a beautiful conclusive serene tone to follow after Sia's Breathe me and doesn't stop there. For me it was an introduction to this song, and to Sia for that matter, and whenever i hear Breathe me, my heart subtly craves for that transition to Richard Marvin's end credits. To that feeling i had the first time i finished the show, to which untill this day, i cannot give words to.

En ninguna película o serie de tv he llorado tanto en mi vida, y no creo que vuelva a hacerlo de esa manera. Six Feet Under me dejó por semanas tocado emocionalmente... Hasta el último segundo de la serie lloré y mucho... Sigue siendo mi serie número 1

They remind me of the leitmotifs you see on film. I recognized Ruth's theme @ 0:48 and the Fisher brother's theme @ 2:08 in the mix. Very moving arrangement to a very moving series.

somethings in life you can't drive away from everything just seems to catch up with you in the end, but driving away from problems will make your future a bad one. but one day you won't be here. because Everything. Everyone. Everywhere. Ends.

Has this song ever been released besides be played at the ending credits? One of my favorite songs and I cannot find a way to purchase it.

It's a television score so you can't really purchase it. And by the way my brother is the composer. So beautiful

An incredible ending. Alan Ball essetially wrote the textbook on how to give a television series the ultimate sendoff....... then apparently burned it because no other show has been able to come even close.

Oh, My Dear Friend, It is very sad, but, I am afraid that there has been never released any SFU Soundtrack Album or any SFU DVD containing an exclusive "apart" released and dedicated to all of this beauty and sensitive Mr. Richard Marvin's delicate music pieces. I have been waiting and looking for anything, something similar, any Album, SFU new recopilation music compositions... Anything, for a long time... A Decade and a half, to now. But, no way. There is not. I have got SFU five seasons DVD packs, two (or three, so sorry, I do not remember at this moment) Soundtrack Albums. I have the Special Book they published, a Jar, calendars (2005 the last), a T-Shirt, some wallpapers/posters... But NOTHING, really NOTHING AT ALL published, edited or released on behalf of Mr. Richard Marvin. This is the only way to listen his SFU music creations, or, watching any SFU chapter in DVD... In fact, you can listen some kind of Thomas Newman's "Opening Main Theme" in different versions and ways ( I apologize if someone finds offesive my words, but, to me, other "DJ versions"as "disco mix and dance", are horrid, ouch! So horrible to listen), but sadly and refering to Mr. Richard Marvin... NOTHING AT ALL. You can find other piano minimalistic compositions, some of them precious, so sensitive and profound... Music for our souls. But in his Website, there is no SFU music piece, due to "registered owner", that is, the Producer and HBO, I guess. His Website is the next: www.richardmarvin.net Hope have been useful. Salutations

Are you watching The Newsroom now? I hear it's quite good. Not quite as good as Six Feet Under, mind you. But good enough to warrant a view. Too bad I cancelled my cable years ago:-( I wish shows could be released on blurays earlier than they are.
