I know about 4 or 5 years ago, back in on the Cochise Stronghold Road, in past the retreat building, at one of the cliff overhangs, there's a big one, or was one, no reason it's not still there. I was camped back there a few days before I got completely moved down here, just staying away from the nutcases at my base camp, another camper came back all white, telling me about this huge bunch of comb hanging from the rock back there. These big ones near the year round source of water are for sure spawning numerous swarms every year

Exactly! 30 new hives per year from just one healthy hive! We'll talk more about the location later Chuck!

It would be neat to inflate the tire to see what increased pressure does. Put Fix a Flat in there.
@KillerBeeGuy8 ай бұрын
Usually when the tire is on the ground and off the bead it won't hold air. Sure would bee fun though!

I love Rosemary! But those little bees are sooo cute! They wouldn’t harm anyone. You can pick them up by the handful. It’s a combine. Here in Ohio we harvest corn and soybeans with them.
@KillerBeeGuy8 ай бұрын
They wouldn't harm anyone...until they do! That's part of the problem with these genetically Africanized honeybees. They can't be trusted. One minute they are fine, the next all hell breaks loose!

Was Reed keeping up with the drinking game with milk or milk jug of his Meade. While your there maybe think about making a honey pepper concoction might be a sellable item. Like for basting fish or meat like pork chops or a steak.

Reed, question: If someone was installing a conex trailer on their property, what do you recommend they use for a base, sand, pebble gravel, larger gravel or quick Crete to seal up the forklift slots before the bees and creatures etc move in????
@KillerBeeGuy8 ай бұрын
Hey Linda! The forklift holes should be available for future use so a permanent block isn't good. Stuffed with plugs that can be removed is the best idea. The rest of the base can be cemented in with a lip all the way around. Keeps out all the possible critters!
@jillmondt53988 ай бұрын
My suggestion, I think, is good if you choose a concrete slab as foundation. I suggest taking measurements of each hole, after placement on poured and moisture sealed foundation, and cutting some pressure treated lumber to fashion some slider blocks to fit. Just be sure each block has an eye-bolt screwed into the intended outward facing side. Then, once each hole has its slider block in there, you can seal the surrounding gappage. When it is time to relocate the conex, then all is needed is to cut the sealant and pull free the blocks, which can be used on the next location. These blocks will not be too heavy either, which is nice.
