Field decision was 'held up, no try' so the TMO images had to give 100% certainty of a try to overthrow that decision. It was 1% inconclusive, so short of 100% certainty. Unfortunate for Scotland, but when it has come to a final score so close that it hinges on a single decision in the final seconds of the game, both teams deserved to win. So, as always, as predicted and as desired: in the end rugby won.

I'd say try he was over line and the ball touched the ground he was held up at the ball could still touch the ground "try time ".

World rugby will never overturn the decision on that try because if they do then it will create a president for anything controversial going forward, and it will show no confidence in the(sometimes poor) officials. However they might have to consider giving added log points to Scotland to maintain fairness. It is likely a romantic dream, but let’s see if World rugby have the game at hart.
