■Six Senses
Six Senses is a hotel brand founded in 1995. The founder was Sonu Shivdasani, and the first resort was Soneva Fushi in the Maldives. Since its founding, it has been known as a pioneer of natural luxury resorts. Through active efforts and thorough practice of sustainability, it has realized hotel operations in harmony with the local community and ecosystem in locations surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful natural scenery.
Six Senses was sold to US investment company Pegasus Capital in 2012, and then to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in 2019. It is currently under the umbrella of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
