Video Footage: (Game) Assetto Corsa In this video, I will discuss six potential new tracks that could debut in WEC from 2025 and beyond from the likes of the Middle East, Portugal, South Africa, Turkey, and South Asia.

I just realized I accidentally messed up the list by not putting the tracks in alphabetical order. #2 is suppose to be Estoril, #3 Istanbul and #4 Kyalami. Nonetheless, please forgive me for that. I got a lot going on in my brain at this time.

I just wish Mexico would return to the calendar.

The full Eurospeedway Lausitz course, which combines the 2-mile tri-oval’s infield road course with the separate 3.5-mile DEKRA high-speed test track, would be a fantastic site for a 12-hour WEC race.

For me I would choose these 3 tracks Paul ricard: I know, its been criticized alot but the layout where there is no chicane at the Mistral straight (backstraight) is actually pretty fun especially with the GT cars. The Bend: I think it would be good track to bring WEC to the land down under considering the ACO has used it before. It's Australias longest track and considering Bathurst has 3 Enduros already I think it'll be a solid alternative choice plus Team Manthey have a car literally sponsored by them so why not. Silverstone: do i need to say more? No matter what class of car it always manages to put on a good show.

I'd love to have Sepang in WEC, but what i am noticing is how brave you are for not putting silverstone in the mix.

I dont think Abu Dhabi or Sepang would be good WEC tracks. They may produce alright racing but I doubt they actually would get that big of an attendance. The AsLMS races at Abu Dhabi and Sepang had barely any fans. I know AsLMS is way less popular than WEC but that is made up for the fact the tickets to attend were free. Sepang probably could get a decent crowd by WEC heavily pushing Rossi to get the Motogp crowd. For Turkey, I dont know if it would get alot of fans. It did have one of the highest attendances in 2021 for F1 but I think part of that is because they hadnt had a race there in 10 years but between 2005 and 2011 they started off at 100,000 fans in 2005 then that went down to 20,000 by 2011, I doubt they would get the 190,000 the 2021 race again especially anywhere near that for a WEC race. Then Kyalami, I think would bring in a good crowd but it is the cost of getting the cars there aswell as where they would be on a calendar.

First of all I'll start by saying they should just drop Bahrain & return to circuits like (Silverstone), (Monza) & (Shanghai)...all the current circuits on the WEC calendar except Bahrain are great. Three new alternative circuits i would like to see are definitely (Sepang) & (Kyalami). Also another great circuit they should visit is (Termas de Rio Hondo) in Argentina where they've hosted MotoGP & WTCR events.

IMSA/WEC doubleheader! That would be a fantastic reason for me to go back for the first time in a long time. My dad used to race there in the North Suburban Sports Car Club, and one of my best early memories is going on track in a Chevrolet Astro van that we had at the time and going up the hill after turn 5, under the bridge before turn 6. WEC drivers would love that track. And the best part? Apart from lengthening the pit lane and a motorcycle-only chicane on the backside of the circuit before The Kink, it’s unchanged from its original layout that debuted back in 1955. How many road courses from that era can say that?

I would add the Dubai Autodrome in the middle East. And yeah Buddh International circuit in India as part of South Asian region.
@christheradar4 ай бұрын
Don't get me wrong, Dubai is a good track, but Yas Marina is more attractive if I had to choose between the two. And Buddh International Circuit wasn't even thought of in my head.

We've got to go back to Silverstone. Haven't raced in Britain since 2019 and unfortunately, my interest in WEC has fallen because of it.

Motorland Aragon e Silverstone seriam incríveis também.

So would The Bend, near Adelaide. The GT layout is one of the longest permanent circuits in the world and would be a great site for the WEC’s first visit to Australia 🇦🇺.

If they had to have an Australian Round why not at the (Albert Park circuit) in Melbourne where the F1 AUS GP is held.
@SamuelOday4 ай бұрын
Why not have the round leading into leman be Monza so many teams say it’s a similar setup and it could lead to better quality racing
