Six-year-old boy struck and killed by school bus | CTV News Toronto at Noon for June 19, 2024

Күн бұрынYork Regional Police say a six-year-old boy has died of his injuries after he was struck by a school bus in a residential neighbourhood in Vaughan on Wednesday morning.
The collision occurred in the area of Pierre Berton Boulevard and Kleinburg Summit Way, near Kipling Avenue and Kirby Road, at around 8 a.m.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation but police told reporters that the bus driver remained at the scene.

Remember to please drive safe, and observe the road. The roads are much more congested, and the heat wave brings out more pedestrians. Its time to slow down and pay specific attention to cyclists and pedestrians. Pedestrians should be on extra guard while enjoying the City's entertainment. Put away the cell phones, and take out those earbuds. Pay attention. Drink lots of water and stay in the shade. ❤❤❤❤❤

One thing I noticed getting worse is children not using crosswalks. Parents walking their children and not using crosswalks. Teaching a child to not cross at lights and crosswalks is not appropriate. Let's not even get into cyclists. Pedestrians and cyclists do have responsibilities. I drove truck for 10 years and bus for 4. One thing I noticed is people gave trucks some respect. Not buses. They are carrying the most valuable cargo. People. Yet they take the same amount of stopping distance as a truck.

If your lifestyle is to be an opioid drug abuser and you overdose, too bad, so sad if you die that is what happens when you take drugs that weren't prescribed by a medical professional through a pharmacy in the City of Toronto. In any other 1st world country, you would have been arrested and when convicted face life in prison or executed as a drug user; in their eyes, a "waste of skin".
