The song at the end was oldskool UK jungle which progressed into drum and bass, Grime music evolved from the UK rave scene

Luke Chunk Almost, Drum n Bass is late 80s, Jungle is around 93/94, or as it was called Jungle Techno.

Zentron Don’t know where you’re from but drum n bass didn’t exist in England until maybe mid 90s. Jungle was probably early 90s until mid late 90s. Before that it was all hardcore and rave.

back when the states slowed down the amen break and you had nwa "straight out of compton". we sped it up, and had jungle. the amen break being a funk track, is how jungle turned into garage which ended up on the grimme thing, which is why you can still hear funk today in uk grimme/hip hop. we took the fork in the road leading us down different paths but we ended up on the same road in the end, we just have different stories of the journey . i've skipped a few steps but i hope it give the bases as to how this or that happened and why the uk tend to "chat" faster on a whole (we sped up the amen break). not trying to get anyone's fans mad just sayinng we had mc;'s thats there whole thing was to spit fast (like general levi form the mid 90's/jungle era) dizzee,etc not saying the are the fastest in the world or whatever BS. just saying why uk thing is why it is

Speed rapping pre-dates jungle though, Papa Levi, Daddy Colonel and Asher Senator from Saxon Sound were doing this in what, early to mid-80's? I even remember Daddy Freddy and Asher D when Daddy Freddy was on Record Breakers with Roy Castle. He worked with Top Cat and Tenor Fly AKA Congo Natty so I think that that, with your piece around the amen break is why the UK has the style we do.

General Levy is a monster on the mic! If you want to see him go even more crazy on the mic I can recommend PART 2 - GENERAL LEVY Dubplate Medley for CONVICT SOUND. The audio quality is pretty bad imo, but that performance is crazy to watch!

they click together because when we much younger we couldn't get much air play so we had lots of pirate radio stations that would get closed down quickly, all underground to hear that type of music. search jungle music house drum and bass the guys you see with hone their skills and jam anywhere there was a mike. Also those guys didnt always got on but with time they squashed shit

Shame first part of this cut out them boys go of and hard this basically best of British may be worth reviewing Bugs Malone also D&B had influence from the rave seen back in early 90's combing it with jungle gave us Drum nd Bass Grime is basically a mixture of few styles including Jamaican and Hip-hop but that maybe just personal opinion
