I got the scosche 4" speakers since thats all I could find in the stores in my area. Used for a few days and threw them in trash. Still worked just fine too, but quality was trash

When are you gonna test the recoil audio coaxial and component speakers ? And compare them to the rest?

This isn't an effective test because of how speakers work. When you have a speaker outside of an enclosure, the waves from the back of the speaker come around and cancel out the waves from the front of the speaker (since the back effectively plays the "reverse" of the front). A much better test would be to mount each speaker in what's called an "infinite baffle." In this case, a 4x8 sheet of plywood is close enough to infinite to prevent most of the rear waves from cancelling out the front. With the speakers mounted, you'll hear a huge improvement in bass and general sound quality. Some sort of box would also work well, but then you'd run into effects with the acoustic volume of the box affecting the damping of the two drivers differently, so you'd get different responses. An infinite baffle setup shows you a more neutral comparison between the two drivers, and is easier to set up (ie, buy a sheet of plywood).

Hi mike I am a virgin to your chanel.. but over the past few days have been viewing your videos.. Massive thumbs up to your very detailed and understandable vids. Ive been going through your vida to hdlp me obtain some upgradeable speakers for my hyundai galloper exceed 1991 project. I have a jvc 4x40w cd with changer.. Now i am searching for speakers to fit the limited holes.. Just taken out the stock old ones which are 5" or 5.3. Rear 4.5" Have you any recomendations which would be most appriciated.. Peace from mallorca spain..

Hey bro if you dont use amplifiers then get some rockford or jbl club series If you have some amp then get bjl gto or kickers there r not much choice for that size

Hi if you running from small amp and want to listen music not to loud Infinity way to go if you want loud sound go with pro audio like Orion mids DB or Timpano

I just bought american bass SQ4 and paid 2x the price of scosche and they're just as bad. Maybe its all 4" speakers that sound like crap

If I were you I tried them in a box because the 4-in speaker I usually I blow I have this Bluetooth speaker I bought it off Amazon it has a 4-inch speaker in it it's kind of like a radio but it's has like graffiti style on it but I usually put those in when I blow out of speaker cuz I can't music
