LeBron James has become an institution, and his myth has been built not simply by his on court accomplishments or lack there of, but by MANY key players off the court. It has been an intricate story weaved by his elite inner circle. The story of LeBron James is one that has been authored by a petulant child from Akron and parroted by multi billion dollar organizations...these are The LeBron Rules...

Tbh Michelle Beadle is a casualty of friendly fire. I don't feel sorry for her at all. She was part of the message until she fell victim to the message. She was just as toxic especially towards men. Remember when Jordan went to the Wizards and used his personal sports agency to run the NBA and force the Wolves to trade him prime Kevin Garnett?? I don’t. Glad you pointed out the NBA sabotaging the CP3 trade - they would of beat Miami and the NBA knew LeBron would of never recovered and they would of never been able to prop him up to the levels they did. AD was the best player on the Lakers title team - but LeBron took all the credit.

Nah that’s James Harden no debate. Lebron with all the BS actually has more authentic( non stat chasing seasons) than he does not. His first stint in Cleveland he was actually playing high level ball without stat chasing(even though his stats were a bit higher due to the system of him monopolizing the ball) His Heat stint was authentic as well as he wasn’t allowed to play that way. And in his second Cleveland stint he played authentically up until the 2017 season. Since then, he’s only played authentically in the 2020 season. Still he’s definitely one of the most manufactured.

as you said "Chasing stats" between that and the constant crying and flopping, NO WAY can I ever understand how anyone "respects his career" he wouldn't have stats if it wasn't for the special treatment. IS IT A COINCIDENCE that when Mr "I cant stop or turn" was in the league, we start to allow charging? Or MR "I cant handle the ball" entered the league they started allowing massive travels? "Mr I cant volume score like MJ, needs another stat" they record assists differently? yea, sure its all a coincidence. I've seen on another channel, AD getting a rebound...that went on Lebrons stat sheet Reeves get a steal, that went to Lebrons stat sheet.. all in same game, or within a few games.. how often does THAT happen? Seen Curry get called for travels you can barely see, 3 times at start of a game last year, SAME GAME they let Lebron take CLEAR OBVIOUS 5 step travels twice and plenty of smaller ones as well. HE only player allowed to handcheck and shove people in the air, moving screens... his post game is ALL ELBOWS, and so are half his drives (When hes not SHOVING players out of the way). Really, just how "respectable" is his career and stats really??

Nick Wright is a clow for saying that. In 2009, LeBron James even admitted in an interview that Kobe was the best player in the league. The reporter followed up, and asked “better than you?” LeBron, thought about it for a few seconds, and said “yeah, I’m not there yet.” Keep in mind, this was after Kobe just won MVP, made the finals and led the redeem team USA to a gold medal. LeBron saw first-hand. Kobe then won 2 more rings and back to back final MVPs after the interview. Nick Wright is a 🤡

I think one of the mayor problems is how a lot of new fans, don't watch old games in an open mind (and in the cases they look the games instead of just seeing highlights or small as summaries), and they still think the old games and players were thrash and this is the era with more talent among others, and for me, that is one of the most important problems on why a lot of new fans believe in this narrative.

I feel like LeBron’s legacy was built by diminishing the accomplishments of other all time greats, which include players of previous eras and his own era. 1. Bill Russell’s 11 rings get criticized bc his team was “so stacked”. Ppl say Russell’s competition must have been plumbers if he was able to win that much. 2. Kobe is disrespected by being called a selfish ball hog, and was carried by Shaq. If Kobe is a selfish player, then why was he the best passer on all of his 5 championship winning teams? Shaq kept getting swept year after year before Kobe started to become an All Star. 3. Tim Duncan gets criticized for winning “filler rings”, because the competition he faced in the some of the finals he won wasn’t extraordinary (99’ Knicks and 07’ Cavs). Well, LeBron lost in one of those finals, and Tim Duncan still had to go through the much tougher Western conference during both of those championship runs. LeBron also faced a finals opponent that wasn’t extraordinary (2020 Miami Heat) 4. Steph and KD get criticized for winning cheap rings, because they were both Top 3 players in the world and the 2 best players in their conference. LeBron teamed up with the 2nd best player in his conference, and won just as many titles as Steph and KD.

I disagree with a few of your points in this video: the fact that LeBron put up nearly the same stat line as Melo as a high schooler is a good narrative to win ROY, I also believe LeBron deserves all 4 of his MVPs because he was clearly the best regular season performer in all of those years(especially 2009), and the steroid accusations are just that, accusations with no evidence. I think I would be a great video to compare the career of Tim Duncan and Lebron James. Both drafted #1 overall to a team that never won a championship; One won a ring in his second year, while one failed miserably in the playoffs. One was 15x All-Defense, while One plays no defense. One stayed loyal with his team his entire career and won 5 chips, while one ring-chased desperately and STILL lost TWICE(Almost 3 times) to the other. Think about it. Tim Duncan was one Ray Allen 3-pointer away from being 6-0 in the finals. The same as MJ. And while I don’t think he was as great as MJ or Kobe(since he had a lot more help), the fact that the media thinks Lebron is better than even Tim Duncan is CRIMINAL.
@jaydot4956
@jaydot4956 9 ай бұрын
Tim Duncan was drafted to a Spurs team that was already a powerhouse in the western conference for years before he got drafted, the only reason why he was drafted to the Spurs was because David Robinson got injured in 1996 and they decided to just tank the season. Lebron was drafted to a horrible cavs team that hadn’t made the playoffs in years. If you draft Tim Duncan to the 2003 cavaliers how many championships do you think he would win if he had stayed there for 7 years like Lebron did?
@MikeBNumba6
@MikeBNumba6 9 ай бұрын
@@jaydot4956no one knows. But Tim Duncan on those LeBron cavs would work. The cavs would have Ricky Davis, Ilgauskas and Boozer his rookie year. Their defense would be amazing depending on Boozer staying the following year. Fast forward to the year the cavs went to the finals. The cavs would be better with Duncan replacing Bron. Again you have more defense and none of the teams the cavs faced in the playoffs that year had an offense outside the paint. The pistons might have gotten swept because they had no big for Duncan. Duncan may not score like LeBron, but he still scores 20ppg and doesn't turn the ball over. So I think the cavs would be fine. Lebron on the Spurs wouldn't work. Tony Parker will not be playing his role. They lose interior defense. Manu and LeBron would work well together though. But I don't think the Spurs would be as good mostly because Parker would have a limited role UNLESS LeBron changes his game and play in the post more. To answer your question, the cavs with Duncan would most likely win in 07.

I was like you guys need to be careful about what you are saying because they have numerous next MJ or this guy is better than MJ, and they have all failed except for Kobe. In Japan, we are 14 hours ahead of the US, so the games were on in the morning. Lunchtime was when LBJ games were usually on. In 2009 My first impression of Lebron was a dude who looked lost; he didn't know what was going on and didn't know what to do. He Looked like he had just given up on life, and I was looking at his teammates playing their hearts out, trying to win. His teammates were trying to win while he was like I don't know what I am supposed to do. Of course, my Soldiers gave the excuse Lebron didn't have any help he couldn't do it by himself! This was my first time hearing that excuse for Lebron a so-called Elite NBA player. This was the first time I had ever seen him play. To me he had plenty of help, but he was the one that was not helping his team. At first I was like maybe I am wrong I didn't watch the entire 2008-09 season or the entire playoffs maybe I am taking this out of context but then 2009-2010 playoffs came around! One year later, in 2010, my second time seeing Lebron play, and it's the same thing. His teammates are playing their butts off, while Lebron looks lost and doesn't know what is going on. He doesn't know what to do, and he quits on his team again. OF course, they had another excuse: his teammate had relations with his mother. I was like, Wait, What? That is a pretty specific and convenient excuse, especially since he is playing the same way he played a year before. I was getting Deja Vu, and they are telling me Lebron's Mother is a 304! Did you mean to tell me Lebron didn't know his mother was a 304 before this point? GTFOH I don't believe that crap! Your so-called Savage Beast choked again like he did last year and turned into a little Puppy! 2010 excuse his mother is a 304, and he didn't have any help! In 2011, LBJ had a Super team with DWADE and Chris Bosh (because they feared Kobe). The Miami Heat destroyed teams in the Regular Season and ran through the playoffs. They lost to a Team with One Superstar, Dirk L, and the Dallas Mavericks! Now, what is the excuse because His mother didn't have relations with DWADE or Bosh? You can't say he had no help because he created a Super team? What is the excuse this year? Oh, It was the COACH! WTF? The coach was the reason they lost! Pat Riley Picked him up from the Local YMCA and made him the head coach of the Heat! My Soldiers Literally told me this BS! (They were Joking about the YMCA, but they were serious about blaming the coach!) I was like, but they made it to the finals it wasn't the coach! Lebron was playing just like he did in 2009 and 2010! He looked like he was lost, confused, and didn't know what to do! His teammates were playing their butts off while he quit again. 3 years in a row, this dude Quit on his team; even with a Super team, he quit, but you want to tell me he is the GOAT or, worse, the second-best player in NBA history! GTFOH! LE-xcuses 2009- He didn't have any help he can't do it by himself 2010-His mother is a 304 and he didn't have any help he can't do it by himself 2010- He had a terrible coach who didn't know what he was doing

That veto prevented an antidote against LeGay's superteams. Also I take note LeGay isn't mentally strong when his teams are down even by just a single point. In 2007 Finals, three of four games were decided by 5 points or less. LeGay choked in the last two games of that humiliating sweep.

It's all about the money, game views, attendance and even more in a society that has been taken over by social media. Skap, amazing video man. I'm from Cleveland, went to catholic school with Rich Paul. Lebron was truly king in this town when he got drafted and took us to our 1st finals run in '07. But then something happened that changed the minds of many here, that stunted his legacy forever - he QUIT on us vs Boston. The way he took that jersey off that night, we all knew he was gone. The "Decision" was an absolute disgrace. Very disappointing and difficult for people here. Lebron always makes a point to distinguish his love for Akron, as if people there aren't Cleveland sports fans (35 miles apart). He never liked Cleveland. He was a Cowboys, Yankees, and Bulls fan. A frontrunner his whole life. I think he felt looked down on for being from an inferior "little brother" city so close by. He showed long ago he's a selfish guy. Every move is calculated for his own self interest. Every statement contrived. While I really appreciate the title he brought us, and respect his greatness, he's a very unlikable person. Awesome vid brother.

This is one of your best videos! King flop is the MOST OVERRATED champion in NBA HISTORY! To completely cast out guys like Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Larry Byrd from the goat debate and put the self proclaimed king of basketball against Michael is incomprehensible! LeBron the best passer in the league or in history, but yet he has the most turnovers in NBA history! The only reason LeBron has more total stats than Jordan is completely obvious. Longevity! And that's the biggest case for LeBron in this so-called debate is longevity stats! You can't use longevity accumulated stats in the goat debate. It's not fair to Michael Jordan who played drastically less time in the league! You have to use a lot more telling stats like game the game stats !What if Michael Jordan played as long as LeBron Michael Jordan average 2152 points a season LeBron averaged about 80 points less Jordan would have 45,000 points at this time in LeBron's career! LeBron has played 452 more games than Jordan and has 17,000 more minutes on the court but yet has two less titles and one less MVP! He also did that playing less time than LeBron and to this day Jordan still holds the record for the highest points per game average in both the regular season and the playoffs! LeBron hasn't sustained any kind of excellence. The only excellence that he sustains is in the people that believe he has sustained excellence! LeBron never started actually winning anything until he joined All Star players! Jordan has the most 50 point games in the playoffs with eight. He has the most 40 point games with 38 and despite LeBron James playing in 103, more playoff games. LeBron is still 10 behind Jordan in 40 point playoff games! Jordan has the most scoring titles in NBA history! He also led the league three times in steals and has a defensive player of the Year award. Does LeBron have a defensive player of the year award? No, he does not! LeBron, James has had some seasons where he's been good on defense but he's had many where he's been a liability on the defensive end. Anthony Davis has outplayed LeBron in many playoff games and has been the best player on the team, not LeBron! Michael Jordan was always the best player on his team! @@timtwing5886 Maybe try reading? Lebron average 28.9ppg last season, his 20TH SEASON, which is what I said. Lebron hasn’t sustained any excellence is just an blatant lie. Everything you wrote has nothing to do with sustained excellence. A defensive player of the year has nothing to do with sustained excellence. You know what does? Having 19 All NBA teams and 19 seasons averaging 25/6/6, more than the rest of the entire NBA combined since he entered the league. His career started before Wembanyama was born. His 10 point streak is longer than Jordan’s career. He has more 25ppg seasons than Kareem and Wilt combined. He averaged 29 points in his 20th season, the next highest was 17. He’s about to go into his 21st season and if he averages at least 24 points, he’s averaged more points than the rest of the players in league history in their 21st season combined.
