Absolutely!!! These are a couple of the guys who's videos I watch and I was surprised Dan was recording him. I'm 44 and been roofing since I was 15 yet I still try to skate as much as my body will allow. Gotta say it's getting harder with every passing year😂

Same he has such a laid back approach to all this madness!! But so does Dan. Would love to hang with these boys for a few hours at a park would be ok but I'd rather do some street skating at some of there so cal spots. I'm a newyorker tho so I'll just check out there videos

The best part about being an "older" skater. You can potentially buy/try all the trucks, boards and wheels you've always wanted as a kid but maybe couldn't afford.

Secret to fakie half cab heel is don’t really hang your toes off the board as much as other heel flips and flick almost ahead of the rotation of the board, similar to how you describe fs kick flips in that your shoulders/body are pretty much done with the 180 by the time you’re flicking, or at least that’s how it feels

I feel like when you hit a certain age, it’s most important to stay within a comfort range so you don’t put yourself too far out there and vulnerable to getting hurt… I know it’s pretty obvious, but it can preserve your ability to skate longer in life

Absolutely and not just with age but responsibilities. When your family depends on you to work everyday to stay alive you can't afford to get hurt playing on a skateboard. Yet my selfish ass still does it but I have to set my limits and be disciplined enough to not pass them

for some reason many skaters in Canada look like this guy.. I had an old skater friend who looks exactly like him skates like him all that same uniform trucks.... but he had a snowboarding accident and broke his spine . It was really sad. And his best friend who was sponsored up in Toronto walked across the street one night drunk and got killed by a car. Some tragic stories up in canada.

i often wonder when people are this good at skating but yet they're proactively doing ticktacks, just out of spite and or are they just unconscious of it?! I can hear the cries of black ninja everytime they ticktack

They were perfectly acceptable when Ben was coming up. I had to train myself out of them over the last handful of years. It was totally normal and no one really thought anything of it. 🤷‍♂
