This is why these two are perfect for each other. Scott looked so embarrassed, his head was down, looked almost annoyed because *how* is he supposed to respond to that? But then our Main Girl Tessa swoops in and *saves him* making that joke, and cutting the tension enough for him to goof around too. Aw these two. Bless that girl for shouting that out and making this moment!

Tessa and Scott have such a deeply warm, loving and respectful chemistry between the two of them. It's also really lovely to see the fun and spontaneous energycome out too.

It's happened in his dreams before? OMG. He instantly regretted saying that! Changed the subject so quickly.

Two people able to make one another laugh, able to laugh together and at themselves, able to be ironic and self-deprecating are definitely meant for each other. This attitude in life is the true secret for a couple to last. More than anything else.

Scott exclaims "Get Married?!" Rattled, flustered, blushing, head down, making no eye contact, continuously fidgeting, kicking at the ice, skating around in circles on his now weak knees, mind blank. OMG - his thoughts briefly turn to their mothers in the audience he rightly assumes are now breathlessly on the edge of their seats… Tessa (the intuitive business partner that she is) kneels on the ice in front of an increasingly uncomfortable Scott, giving much needed comic relief by saying with a twinkle in her eye “Moir, what do you think?” (Note to self: Many a truth is uttered in jest). She gently tries to bring him back to the moment drawing on the centering techniques they learned from B2x. Scott doesn’t seem to hear - distracted thinking and wishing he stayed in Ilderton remodeling his house and tending the Moir ice-skating shop. He holds out his hand sensing (mistakenly) Tessa is about to fall on the ice - as always, the impeccable gentleman. Then quickly realizing she purposely bends on one knee (how be it fleeting), Scott laughs whole hardily and then soberly tells Tessa into a live microphone "now's not the time". Hummm.... Lucky for Scott, the audience is laughing too loud to catch it. He spontaneously - being the sensitive guy he is - shares with everyone in listening range (and forever due to KZfaq), a dream (nightmare?) about someone yelling point blank to him in front of a crowd during a SOI show somewhere in Canada "get married". (Note: if he was in the USA SOI, we would assume they were already married so no need for flagrant shipping) Anyway... Possibly this dream is more uncomfortable than a mascot popping out of nowhere or playing the Definitely Not Dating Game… Unfortunately for Scott, all these dreams came true. At this point, Scott moves his hand quickly through his thick, sensuous, brown hair, forever fidgeting, deflecting, forgetting Tessa in the background, skating around searching somewhere for help, nervously deflecting even more and desperately trying to make eye contact with someone who is oblivious to the situation. Thank goodness for a cute kid sitting conveniently on the first row (intuitively he knows the kid doesn't give rat's ass - pardon my French, couldn't think of better phrase - if he gets married to Tessa or not). Salvation from this whole precarious situation comes through Elvis quickly skating out on the ice. Scott has a slight moment of panic since hearing about an Elvis Chapel in Las Vegas from Chiddy during SOI tour in Japan. A feeling of relief envelopes Scott since Elvis doesn't volunteer to marry them - at least not at this moment, but who knows what that sneaky Elvis Stojko will do during intermission... Because he can never let Tessa down, Scott refuses to allow this ordeal to derail the rest of the program and vows to himself to show the audience plenty of neck snuggling, hand kissing, mischievous smiling, smoldering looks, long caresses, that fabulous bum and of course, exquisite skating with the brilliant, gorgeous, green eyed Tessa. Oh, by the way, also happens to be a magician - who knew? Bonus - Scott’s sumptuous hair and expressive eyebrows take on a life of their own during the rest of the show. Moral of story, they seem happy in their platonic Canadian business relationship with PDA on and off the ice… can we just be happy for them? They are endearing just the way they are and this is the most magical of happy endings. Footnote: Scott has ruined romance for me because now I want a guy just like him... Update: Scott slips and falls tonight near the end of Moulon Rouge. Most likely still shaky from the previous night’s shipping from the audience in Hamilton. Ever the consummate professional, he quickly rises to his feet and summons, by beating on his chest, Tessa over into his arms for the last lift. All of this while sucking up a bruised hip and quite possibly a pulled muscle - no apparent bum issues, still looks mighty fine. After bravely taking a well deserved bow with Tessa lovingly at his side - because business partners support each other- Scott, holding his back, skates over to check the spot where he fell to alert the Zamboni guy to smooth over the patch of ice so other skaters don’t meet the same fate. What a man! 😉

i've ever seen a short footage on instagram recently when they're doin a pratice session with other ice skaters. Tessa was standing behind Scott while both were interact with other ice skaters, Scott spread his arms reached Tessa's hands behind him like a "hug me from behind" couple gesture. it was so sweet, n i guess thats a confirmed clue for me that they're dating, they just dont want people to know yet. i hope they will confirmed it to the world one day, soon!

O God!!! I watched it on repeat already twice today. Got nothing done today, hahahaha. Tessa is such a treasure. She is truly one and only. If I was Scott I would secure this person for me from the very beginning and would make sure to never let her go... Wait a minute...maybe he did? But then all his "public gfs???"... Does he even deserve her at this point? Or is there sth I am not suppose to know??? There is something so unique about her, that I cannot describe with words. She is esoteric creature in human body. I do not even want to start listing all her human values, like beauty, femininity, intelligence, creativity, emotional maturity, etc.etc.etc... And she can really be so funny and entertaining. On the other hand there is a very special vibration which I feel while watching her. I just would like to be close to her all the time, because of her energy. She transmits very strong vulnerability and this powerful, overwhelming, endless love. Therefore she is able to forgive and forgive and forgive... She should be a TV personality, because she can bring something really good through the media, but I would also wish she would stay in coaching and mentoring because of all this experience she now posses and also because who she is as a person. So gentle, caring and giving... She also has an unique ability to interact with people and particularly with little kids... And finally, I will be waiting for her book regarding relationship(s). I believe she will write about this topic in the near (I hope) future and it will be really a THING!

I love these 2 as much as anyone, BUT, as they both say, are acting out roles on ice.They are happy that we have bought into their role playing. Their LOVE is more of a brother/sister love than a romantic/sexual, relationship. It will "kill us all" but i can see these 2 finding other partners in their "after Ice Dance Competitive careers".They claim to have very different career outlooks. They will always LOVE one another but not like we hope for.

These two are fabulous actors! They have been coached since they were youngsters. They keep denying they are a "couple" but have been displaying romantic behavior and constant togetherness for ages. If they indeed were going to be a couple it would have happened and been made public by now. It certainly is possible S&T had a romantic/intimate relationship in the past but did not evolve into a marital one. Now that Scott just recently announced his engagement and not to Tessa! what does that tell you? I'm not aware of any skate pairs with the longevity of these two. Theirs is a fairy tale due to their tremendous talent and charisma. They certainly have been highly marketed--- reality show, 2 books, tons of radio and TV appearances and on and on. I wonder had they gotten married at some point before now would the public interest be as prolonged with them as an official couple as the intrigue is absent. Also, Scott getting engaged out of the blue and everyone being surprised??? Something weird is going on!

I wish the audience would stop their whooping because it drowns out what Tesse and Scott are saying. Wish we would go back to all of this audience listening quietly until T.V. & S.M. are finished talking. Etiquette is polite clapping of the hands when they had finished talking. Notice particularly when a performer is skating to a gentle piece of music the whooping interrupts the flow of the skater's interpretation to the music or the audience conception of revelation.
