There's an explanation for everything...It's obvious on the 1st trick he covers up the bottom quarter of the screen with his board. Someone behind and below him is writing the page number and the name fennel on it as he holds it up. The number 9 is messed up....Simple BS

Can’t explain the cards but when he reached for the envelope he used slight of hand to change the paper inside the cup. I’ve seen Dynamo often enough. The hand is quicker than the eye.

Lior Suchard has a small writing device on his right thumb.He makes a point of discarding the pen so that you think he has nothing to write with. Then he has you pick a page and word, which he has no idea. This is why he gets you to tell him the page number and word. When you tell him, he immediately writes it on the paper he is hiding from the viewers with the clip board, by way of his thumb ring pen which you never see. No master mentalist, he is using tricks and plots. In a situation where he is not in control, he can do nothing. It is all con showmanship, with no mysticism. The Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu busted Lior on live T.V. with a simple question, What am I thinking? It is one word and I am projecting it. Come on Lior, can you tell me what it is? Lior hated it and made every excuse to ignore the prompt, because he cannot read minds.

@@kenhew4641They are pretty common tricks anyone can do. It didn't actually matter where they said the cards should be placed. One way it could be done is by having a set of 5 cards already laid out with the matching symbols on one side and plain black on the back so you can't see them (that's why he needed a black mat on the table). He places their choice on top of these cards and keeps the two cards together when flipping them so only the fronts of the black-backed cards are shown at the end. For the writing on board/paper, he just needs to write it very discretely (eg. thumb marker) or have someone else write it. He could use slight of hand to swap the papers without them noticing, or since it's not in person, he could have his video feed manipulated to pause the right side of the screen so another person could place it in the cup without it showing in the live video or recording. There are many explanations, but in this performance, it is definitely just an illusion.
