It’s okay, we all have that one awkward sketchbook in our lives that we just use for experimentation, even if you don’t know that now, in the future you will recognize how important this sketchbook was to your personal education. ☺️☺️ I honestly think your pages are absolutely beautiful though. Just draw what makes you happy!! The fish with backpacks are adorable. ❤️

I really love this and appreciate you sharing it with us. It's a real sketchbook. I feel like most of the time people only show these perfectly curated sketchbooks, which always makes it seem like they do perfect art all the time. While I enjoy those, it's nice to see the process and a more realistic point of view with how art really happens, not to mention seeing your experimentation is really awesome. :-)

"I like to draw backpacks on animals" DUDE. I do the exact same thing, no joke. It started with me drawing my pug as an anime schoolgirl, and ever since then I randomly add little backpacks, shoes, glasses, etc. to animals spontaneously. I'm so happy someone else does this, coz it always seems to baffle people who catch sight of it, and they almost always give me the "okay then" response, haha. I'm not alone!!

Thanks for putting this up! I appreciate you putting up stuff that you may not be 100% happy with. I like looking at rough sketches and unfinished work.i feel like i can learn a lot from other people's "mistakes' (that are still loads better than my own work!)

Yea, I got about a year to finish it before I need to send off with my portfolio :P should hopefully be enough time. Even though it's a sketchbook, I try to make every drawing in it perfect!

LlamaFreak You should know it's okay to make mistakes and I understand if you want to make it perfect but I would suggest getting another sketchbook where you could make mistakes and the other one for perfect drawings. Just a suggestion!☺ Worked great for me!

Guess what. My first sketch book...took me YEARS to finish I'm not kidding. At all. I got it in the 6th grade and finished at the beginning of 10th I think. Of course, you're much more pressure to finish so, goodluck!!

I really love your monsters and animal creatures. They look whimsical and cute and you should put them more in those environments and give them a chance to shine more haha (my personal opinion) because I find you really good at drawing those.

Oh wow congrats on the play button! Also I tried hard to figure out where you're not satisfied with my some drawing and with some I can see it but you also disliked some sketches that I noticed and liked a lot! Idk but that's really interesting to me!

A lot of pigeons and seagulls only have one foot because hairs or strings get wrapped around one of their legs and the loop just continues to tighten until the foot just falls off. Growing up, my friends and I would always try to spot the single footed ones when we saw a bunch of birds.

my favorite ages in this are the messy ones tbh, they're just so cute and a little on the scruffy side and idkk.. i find messy sketchbooks really aesthetic for some reason, i love the clean pages too... you have a lovely sketchbook :')

i love your sketchbook! it really inspired me to just work on mines. i have never ever finished a sketchbook. i began to get into art this year but i’m going into my senior year of high school and i need a sketchbook finished or almost finished to apply for uni. i am... a page ripper sadly. i’m never satisfied my work. i’m a perfectionist. my works needs to be perfect or else i just erase and erase. 😔
