Thanks so much, Johnny! I have a lot of fun making the silly little animations -- really appreciate your encouragement! I think I'd like to learn the "real" way to do animation as a future endeavor, but for now I just kind of wing it with Photoshop and iMovie. The simple mouth movements are just two slightly different images (adjusted in Photoshop), and then toggled back and forth at about 0.5 seconds each in iMovie. The moving beetle also used two slightly different images, but I relocated them across the background image over and over in Photoshop. And the static images that move across the page are done in iMovie using keyframes and picture in a picture. Hope that makes sense. I'm no expert (!!!), but if you give it a try, let me know if you have any questions. I really appreciate your support, Johnny! Your videos are so inspiring to me as far as how you mix your beautiful art and location footage with your fun personality. 😃
