SketchUp Floor Plan Tutorial for Beginners - 1. This tutorial shows how to draw 2D floor plans in SketchUp step by step from scratch. You can learn this complete course for free. I am new to sketch up and found your tutorials to be excellent and very easy to follow. I’ve watched the first three on creating a flor plan in 2d, but can’t find the fourth in that series. I would love to see how to add dimension lines to the drawings and add title blocks on other notes to the 2d plan. Thank you again for your great tutorials.

Thank for the video!!! I have a question. In minute 11:50-12:10 you were be able to move the wall to create a 800mm. I couldn’t do it without moving the whole layout. How can I make it a group and move just the walls I choose. Thank again!

You see those home icons in the top right of his screen? Those are all the different view modes. You have to enable it in the settings somewhere.

@11.36 if you are moving bathroom walls by 50 mm to make the opening of 300 mm then bathroom's x dimension will also increase by 50 mm. It will become 2200 mm in total

Okay guys a lil help here. Am new to sketchup and I find this app so complicated to use compared to the app I was using before for floor plans. And I could do a floor plan with less time but the problem I had with it is I can't do roofing. So how good is this computer app in terms of dimensions and roofing any one with experience is welcome to share
