It’s always nice to know some of the local terminology that you might hear at a ski resort. We'll go over the meaning of most common SKI SLANG expressions you may encounter so that you can take your ENGLISH to the next level.

No, the literal translation of gaper is not yawner, it doesnt come from yawn. It comes from the gap between your helmet and your goggles. 😂 Pizza,french fries, yard sale, jerry, euro, park rat, jib, pow, bomber, bluebird, champagne, corduroy, crust, dump, texas suitcase, texas gore tex….and the list goes on and on and on. Skiing is fantastic.😂

You can weigh in on, say, a discussion, a plan, which means you give advice or comment on it ( I decided to talk to him and try to weigh in on his decision) When you weigh in with some ideas or comments, you either give your opinion or join an argument or a discussion (If you disagree, please weigh in with comments. He'll definitely weigh in with his silly ideas.)
