Ok, let's try: taking cover during rain is as right as rain. I should keep this idiom for a BLACK (yeap, I`m used to use this word) day. (P.S is it right to use "rain" without any article?)

If you’re talking about rain in general, you would most likely use it without any article. When you add “the,” you could be talking about the rain that is currently falling. For example: I like rain. (in general) I’m standing in the rain. (current rain) After a long, tiring day, you need a good night’s sleep, and then you’ll be (as) right as rain again. ( in a good health/ shape) If we finish the project in time, everything will be (as) right as rain. ( everything will be satisfactory)
