How long was the hike up?

Depends on what kind of shape you are in and if you are acclimated to the altitude. I did it in 20 minutes.

Is it that steep as it appears in the video?

It is quite steep. I would say the steepest of the North Pole chutes.

It's much more intense when you're on it. Videos never do it's pitch justice. It's a real leg burner.

Nice...headed to CO in the beginning of January. Not sure if will be open, but if it is, I will definitely give it a run.

I think you kicked Notch 2's ass! I've been going after Notch 1 for 2 years but I haven't hit a day with it open and the right conditions.

Not sure why this popped up on my recommended, but it did. Caught a few of your other videos. Buddy, keep your hands out in front, stop dropping them below your hips or behind you. Keep those little boards your skiing on parallel and under you. Seriously, would hate to see you hurt yourself. Good luck!

@@perrinswoveland8631 Easy there Perrin. First off, I'm not someone who comments on social media. However, when this video popped up on my recommended, I felt compelled to remark and just maybe (doubtful) save this individual a traumatic injury or worse. And in response to your reply, I would like to extend a cordial invitation to take a couple laps with me at my home mountain. Looking forward to possibly seeing you this coming winter. Sincerely, Liz/Jackson Hole Ski Patrol 😉
