Hello guy's, hope you're doing well. I need a little bit of guidance.. I have done ITI certification of 2yrs in Drafting. After that I got a job in MNC. In 2002 I got a job as Draftsman. Now I am having 20yrs of experience in Electrical Drafting. In 2007 I did my Bachelors in Information Technology part time. You might have an idea that Electrical draftsperson are in demand in Australia. Even my points are more than 65 but I am confused about my assessment. Hi Harshad. My husband referred MSA booklet for writing his CEs. Even he didn't find much samples online. He referred whatever he could find and accordingly formulated his CEs.

Post Bachelor's I have worked for 3 years in a profession related to Electrical Engineering and Most Master's I have worked for 6.5 years in a profession related to Software Engineering. Can you please tell me which Skills Assessment Body should I approach in order to get my skills assessed? Also, will my experience be considered as 9.5 years or 6.5 years? Thanks.

Hello, I am from Gujarat and right now I am in India. I recently ( july 2022 ) completed my bachelor in mechanical engineering. I preferred Deakin University in Geelong but this University is not providing accredited courses for masters. So like you did competency demonstration report (CDR) you have experience in India but i have not experience in india. Right now I have zero experience apart from internship. So i want you to tell me that the Indian experience is necessary or mandatory? Otherwise I will choose another university which provides accredited courses in Melbourne. Because I want to go either Deakin University Geelong or Swinburne University Melbourne. Deakin is not accredited but that University is in the regional and Swinburne University provides accredited courses and not regional. Thai is my main problem. I really hope you will help me. Please help me to solve this issue. Thank you

Experience should be relevant and the CO will assess that. However, it's a tough question on which university will give you better chances of a PR. Government focus is more on regional recently. You need to compare the pros and cons and choose what's best for your situation.

Hi arti,like him,in my case also CO contacted me two times. First the CO asked me documentary evidence of my project .accordingly i uploaded those.further I received comments from CO asking for a detailed written explanation since he could find huge amount of plagiarism in my CE’s. The projct were my institutional projcts nd i wrote cdr by myself.just wanted to know how did u do the detailed explanation.whether u made section by section of each career episodes in where u felt plagiarism and undersigned the letter and attached as supporting file?kindly guide

What do you mean by "Reference Letters" exactly? Plus why the bank statements because there isn't any mention of the bank statements on Page 28 of MSA Booklet?

My husband submitted reference letter from his Mngr highlighting R&R as per the requirements. Bank statements was submitted as an additional evidence. Sometimes the CO may not be satisfied with the submitted documents.

I have a query please answer me. I’m Aircraft’s Mechanic for Avionics system. I have apprenticeship for avionics maintenance and also holding European Avionics License i.e EASA B2 as an Aircraft maintenance engineer. Having relevant 08 years of full time work experience as per my qualification and my job description is also as per ANZSCO 323111 but in my last job my designation or job title was aircraft technician and in my current job my designation is Aircraft Mechanic (in US they call engineer as mechanic in aviation ). Now my question is that , will TRA accept or evaluate my application as an engineer or not…??? Or do I have to submit my application as a technician but in the occupational list there isn’t a specific code for avionics maintenance technician or mechanic …?? Please guide me how and which category do I need to apply. Thanks

Hi Akash, I am a mechanical engineer - i approached my previous employer for reference letter but they are saying that i was given with experience letter and relieving letter - will that help -- why i am asking is, those two letters will not have my responsibilities i held but those letters will have start and end date of my service and my job title thats all - will that help in EA assessment

Hi Richa. You will be given an Initial Entry Date (IED) and you need to enter before that. We landed 5 months after our grant.

There is no site as such. You may just search for some samples and also refer to the MSA booklet.

Hi Artee and Akash. I hope you are doing well. I have one follow-up question for you. I submitted my MSA CDR + RSEA to [EA fast track] on 28 February 2021. It literally took a day to have the assessment status change from “queued” to “in progress”. However, at the moment, it has been in progress for 21 working days. Is it normal for the processing time to be so long? From one of your videos, it took nearly one and a half to two months for you to receive the assessment result. Such a long processing time at such an early stage of the entire process worries me, that is all. Do you recommend waiting for a little longer (say one week) before contacting EA? Thanks for your guidance. Take care.

Hi Harshad, Fast track implies only application allocation time to the CO. The processing time depends on your CO and sometimes they don't change the status. Plus all this pandemic situation. So be patient for some more time.

1) Experience assessment is not mandatory but recommended if you want to claim points for your relevant experience. 2) You need to write 3 CEs for EA if you are going through the CDR pathway.

Hi Karthik. Please check EA responsibilities requirements for your ANZSCO to make sure they closely match. Also, explore the subclass which will give you more possibility to get an invite. Some trade occupation demand in some of the States & Regions may be high.

No. It's not mandatory to assess the experience with EA but recommended. Irrespective of your experience assessment, DHA will again assess your experience based on the evidence you submit. Basically, DHA will crosscheck every point you claim once you lodge the visa.

Hi Mostfa, You need to weigh your options of which ANZSCO would give you high chance of getting an invite faster. Moreover, MSA booklet outlines the requirements for all engineering/ relevant profiles which fall under their domain.

Sir, I have a positive assessment from IML. However, when i am filling an EOI, IML does not come in the list. I would also like to show that, it is a valid agency under the Australian assessment authorities. Is there any other name for IML? My nominated occupation is Engineering Manager

Skills assessment is a chargeable service. EA requires min. English competency. It's better to start doing things simultaneously if you want to save time.

What if the words you copy are from your work? E.g. a journal paper you wrote before or a conference paper or a university project. Will you still be held accountable for plagiarism? I mean its your work at the end of the day.

Hi Touseef, I am not sure of the accreditation part but I went through the CDR pathway. I first chose my relevant ANZSCO and then decided which was the skill assessment body. In my case, it was EA. Also, what mattered to them was the job duties/ responsibilities and not my title. Regards, Akash.

Is a Service Certficate from previous employer with signature from HR on company letterhead that has following items mentioned considered as Reference letter? (Employee name, last designation, date of joining, date of exit, last drawn salary, reason for leaving). Can't get any letter from employer with job duties.

@@ArteeVlogs Artee, thank you for responding. It is mentioned in 2.1.4 of MSA booklet (March 2020) that one need to mention defined roles and brief description of activities in "Curriculum Vitae". This section does not talk about Reference letter from employer. My question was if it is a must to have the roles and responsibilities in Reference letter. Reference letter is the one on company letter head and endorsed by HR/Manager as mentioned in Page 28, Primary documents. I currently have only Service Certificate as I have mentioned previously. Am I missing something? Please suggest based on your experience.

The people who are critcising your journey are struggling coz they don''t desrve to be there. You cant expect to come from the paddy field and be a PR directly in australia. Canada might be good for them.
