It's really not as hard as it looks. I've been at it for a few years. What makes it easy is how close the shore break is. This spot is ideal! 👍

This video has been a huge inspiration for me. You're incredible! I dunno how you make it look so easy but pretty much all of those runs were really smooth. A few months back I was down in Myrtle Beach SC, and I was watching these and learning how to ride in, and I managed to do it once! So thank you for that, and keep up the dope content ✌️

I love waves. They are so cool when people surf them when they are just a mound. I love How it goes perfectly smooth when it’s about to crash into the water or ground. Waves are an amazing thing. Us humans have done well to figure out how to harness them and let them propel us. Great video boys!

Nice!! in the late seventies me and my friend made our own skimboard painted shellac and a lightning bolts and when the waves were small in Huntington Beach California we would skimboard all day and get ball raw. Oh yeah and hit the Wedge for bodysurfing!!

It is so cool to see youngsters who are not yet able to swim have fun in the water doing this thing called skimming. I can see that in due time time these mighty skimboarders will have learned enough and had enough bravery to go into waters above their heads without panicking and that in a very short time they will be giving up those skimboards to the recycle bin for a big mans board! A surfboard! Finally with the fear of drowning behind them they can go catch real waves and have grownup fun finally! Surfs up and no fears! Congratulations soldiers!

Eu tenho andado a apanhar a Costa da Caparica assim quando a maré está cheia nas praias com os fundos todos lixados. Só apanho é em bodysurf porque não tenho prancha para aquilo mas é divertido na mesma cair de meio metro em areia!

I was at the beach this past summer learning how to do this. This is MAD difficult. I didn't successfully ride a wave till the end of the week! I snowboard, surf, ski and skate too!

Please tell me the name of the music. I love it and combined with the skimboarders its amazing. I just find some kids talking over the beat and they dont even sing well. I just want to know the beat. sbecktacular only thing about skim boarding is that when you fall you hit wet sand which is hard. It’s really easy to break your wrist or ankle

FunkyRyan a zap board may be a good choice depending on your preferences. they are good to start with and aren’t usually above 200 dollars

What is your board made of and what would be the best board to actually ride waves, like carbon fiber or fiberglass or something else?? Also what are good beaches to skimboard in Florida??

These boards are all carbon fiber or carbon/fiberglass composites. While its possible to ride a board on a wood or all fiberglass board, carbon fiber is preferred by most due to its stiffness and weight. Florida has a lot of good beaches on both coasts but the most consistent are probably vilano beach and the sebastian inlet area.
