His third time was almost faster than Michael Andrew’s first time. Dressel is overpowered.

@@XDF745 that's what I was saying lol. I was pointing out how it would suck to be in that position since dressel is the most dominant short course swimmer litterally ever

RegretOsu! I think so far most dominant swimmer for short course is Morozov
@XDF7454 жыл бұрын
@@RegretMSTRPWN He'd need to swim SCM far more often than he does to claim to be the most dominant short course swimmer ever. SCY doesn't count because only the US uses this format.

@@XDF745 scam and scy are extremely similar. Theres a little bit more swimming in scm so the underwater is slightly less valuable, but theres still the same amount of turns which is where dressel dominates

2nd race had a cool angle. Thanks there. Still some weird cuts, but I assume those may need to be ironed out in the change from long course presentation to short course. Please save the odd angles for replays

at least from that angle you can see who's winning. But I prefer the classic angle at 6:58. They should stick to that so we can clearly see who's winning the race. Nothing too zoomed in, or overhead from behind trying to be fancy.

wouldn't the skins be much more interesting if you could got points per round of racing? So the maximum amount of points the "winner" will get is still 27, but he could also get less because he didn't win the first two rounds.

Hassan Maje The ISL has short course meters because it is cheaper and is more fun to watch. Also they can have event’s such as the 100 Im(which they will have in season two) which is one of the spectator’s favorite.

ISL is so confusing what is even happening
@akirsch54 жыл бұрын
Michael Tran what is happening is a skins Race. It is where they do 3 50s and have three minutes rest and they knock it down by half every single time the round finishes.

The swimmers complained abput the threat FINA gave them, and talked about having a more professional sport, but yet here they are swimming unshaved and with full beard. If you wanna be threated like a pro, THEN YOU MUST ACT LIKE A PRO
@sagarrillo134 жыл бұрын
I believe that racing at these kind of competitions (and not only at the ones that are organized by FINA) is a sign that swimmers want and need a more professional sport, and I think they are acting like pro's. The shitty argument you said does not make them less professional lol.
@danielcavalier7114 жыл бұрын
@@sagarrillo13 Swimming unshaved is the classical way of saying IDGAF about this meet. Yeah, you don't know a thing
@jamesbunyard74064 жыл бұрын
Because in this format of swimming through out the year most of them are competing during hard training cycles and if you shave and taper for every meet it looses it’s specialness to a certain extent simply put they don’t need to shave as they don’t want to
@heinrichpreussen4 жыл бұрын
This was about a month before winter nationals. Why would they shave down for this? What a dumb argument. The ISL still needs to find proper scheduling.
