Septimus Heap in the OLD LORE Warwick was Singed's partner. Warwick was working on a alchemy formula to make him a better hunter and he needed the heart of a celestial being to complete it. so he tried to trick and kill Soraka she wasn't to happy about that so she used star call to kick his ass. he went back to Singed and took the unfinished formula and then he turned to a werewolf.

+Septimus Heap So in the old lore Warwick was a hires hunter, he would be hired to kidnap or assassinate someone and he never failed, he even had his own apprentice, Singed. (at this part my memory is a bit rusty so I might get all couple details wrong, but this is generally what happened) He got hired to Capture Soraka, blah blah blah, long story short, he failed. He asked Singed to create a potion that would make him more powerfuk than any man so that he could catch soraka, Singed began making a potion, but never really finished it. didn't have the right ingredients. Warwick drank it anyway in his craze to finally hunt down soraka, despite Singeds' protests, and it warped Warwick into our furry, pre-rework pal. His transformation is causing him to slowly lose his mind, and ironically the last ingredient he needs, is a piece of soraka, (wether or not it's her horn, or heart, I don't remember) so now he HAS to hunt her down for his own survival. and that was as much as I remember about his old lore.

That was the speculation from the day the voice lines got released tho. At least that he was their father and that something happened between the three of them.
