Heifetz and Piatigorsky recorded this for RCA . It is on you tube on “ Heifetz and Friends “ . They played a shorter version.

oh I wish more could understand the genius of Martinu???? I'm in love with the 3 madrigals for vln/vla.............I was hoping this could be available of vla. cello???? what a performance. how did I miss this??? 15 operas/ 6 syms....thanks guys. Dgunde. viola, piano, organ etc

I was just listening to music for violin and cello with Heifetz and Piatigorsky (Kodaly ,Halvorsen and others ) and then I suddenly found this. What a wonderful and overwhelming surprise. Thank you so much. Two great young men at 18 and 19 . Now they must be in their early thirties. . I hope I can hear more with them.
