To expand on the passing out trick, if you level up during the night you pass out from 2am, you for some reason don't get any stamina decrease the next day

Other reply doesn't really explain the strat, Use crystalariums to make jade, trade the jade in for staircases on Thursdays (it might be sundays, just check the wiki cause I forgor), then save up like 100 staircases, grab food and a good weapon, you don't even need bombs, then go down around 90 floors with the staircases and mine all the iridium you can. Use the iridium to make more crystalariums, and repeat. A good mentality for skull caverns is to know that you most likely won't be making money from it, you go down for the resources instead.

Unfortunately I play on mobile so the slingshot isn't really worth it bc it's too hard to use with everything else going on, eventually I'll get around to playing on PC and then I should be able to use it

Was about to say this. But I still keep it with me whenever I go down the mines loaded with explo ammo 'cause I just feel like there might be a situation where I would need it. Would there ever be such a situation or nah? First playthrough.

@@fr0stburn798honestly on my second play through of the game with beach farm, my first being river farm and i never had a situation where i needed the slingshot or expo ammo. I just get crystalariums and farm quartz to trade at desert trader for bombs and go bomb mining

Ok so I must be doing something wrong because whenever I use a slingshot with explosive ammo it just flies through everything rock, ore, and gem node in existence.

Hit walls or enemies near rocks to trigger the explosion

They won't collide with rocks, it's only walls and enemies they'll blow up on.

I recommend since you like Stardew and have high hopes for Haunted Chocolatier, Terraria. It is kinda like Stardew minus the farming and marriage stuff. There are a ton of bosses and monster for you to fight and there is some lore but only connected to some bosses. It is 2D and really fun! There is a lot to learn and some chance to the game with weapons.

Its true! I just restarted the game and have been passing out in the caves when it hits 2 am. You lose gold, but not your stuff. Stuff lost happens when you lose all health and pass out.

I farm starfruit for money, buy mega bombs from the dwarf, buy salad from saloon, get staircases and when I run out, I just spam bombs all over the place

Yes, it is. You progress much faster that way. It also barely takes any of your health away. Plus, it can never kill you
