Ok so they started at something like 1h43mn54sec (21:51), which is 6234 seconds since they started the run. They said at 22:10 that we can have 9 birds, and I'll assume they'll get them almost everytime. They takes 4ish seconds to kill those 9 birds and reload the room. They end at 44h30mn34sec (28:59), which is 160234 seconds since they started the run. 160234 - 6234 = 154000 seconds where they kill birds. Because they take 4 seconds to clear the room, I assume they did the room 154000/4, 38500 times. They kill 9 birds each room, so 9 x 38500 = 346500 So in the end they roughly killed 346500 birds. A great place to farm essence is right before the Flukemarm. There are a couple dozen of harmless worms you can kill. And as with the birds, the worms respawn everytime you enter the room.
