your answers are highly needed .. the Question is : if the aftermarket servo is better than the OEM so why they don't use it instead? another question is : I'm a beginner rider and i don't know what is the purpose of the servo .. please can u tell me what it does exactly? and why it has wires to the exhaust? by the way .. u are awesome bro .. we really need maintenance , installations and replacements much appreciated..

+عبدالاله الشمري This servo eliminator is only a switch that is used to convince the ECU that the real Servo motor has not been removed. The exhaust servo controls the airflow through the exhaust at various RPM. This is used to better control emissions for import. Thanks for watching!

me also .. my 2016 s1000rr will arrive after 20 days but no one gives full videos step-by-step installation , maintenance and replacements.. please if there is any chance to do it then go ahead.. enough of Japanese bikes lol .. much appreciated bro (:

2019 zx10r just added the akrapovic muffler and link pipe i removed cables just as you did but the check engine light is on, will this fix that problem?

Yes this will correct the engine light after removing the exhaust servo motor from the bike. On some models installing this after the code has been set will not turn the light off, the codes will need to be cleared after installing it. - Van

Hey i did all u guys did in the video,,,,, at the end when u connect the servo buddy, 5:25 there's a clear and whiter connectors ,,, do they have to match when been plugged with the one from the. Bike ? ... to me that made sense so I plugged the clear with the clear and the white with the white one .. please help

Would installing the servo buddy still cause the bike to run rich by chance? Or would it still run as normal programming into the exhaust since it is aftermarket or will it eventually need to be flashed?

For any exhaust install when you are removing the exhaust valve in the system. - Van

it might be a little late to answer but it controls a valve inside your exhaust (typically OEM) that modulates the flow of exhaust gases. most aftermarket exhausts do not have a valve so that makes the servo kind of useless if you go aftermarket

Just curious on my 2017 gsxr 750 I just unplugged the servo and put the servo buddy and and left the cables in until I get a tune. Is that ok?

I am assuming you have a full system on the bike that has eliminated the exhaust valve? As long as that is in fact the case you can leave the cables installed. - Van

I ended up pulling the cables and motor out. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Bike is loud 😈

You need to install the servo eliminator shown in this video to prevent the CEL from coming on. - Van

Hi, i unstalled the stock exhuast and installed the M4 gp. But the engine wont start, i just hear the threrhhheee sound while pressing start button. Then installed the servos buddy but still the same. Red light warning is on, display sometimes goea blank??? Please help. Zx6r 2017

I installed the servo buddy on my 2017 Zx10r and my check engine light is still on, can I get help with this please? I’m using the m4 gp slip on exhaust.

Happy to help out. Do you know which code has triggered the light? If you started the bike before installing the servo buddy try disconnecting the battery for a bit then taking the bike for a rider allowing the electronics to run all the tests. If you have everything installed correctly should be good to go. - Van

please can someone help me here???? I bought an aftermarket headers/midpipes for my zx6r 2008 to conet with my two bros slip on. the pipe came with no holes( should have 2) i believe that holes are for the o2 sensors???? RIGHT????? does SkutrNet Kawasaki ZX-6R/RR 05-16 Exhaust Servo Buddy will do me good? so if I instal the servo budy i dont need to make holes on the pipe?\ THANKS IN ADVANCE

The servo buddy will not fix the issue you are having with the lack of O2 sensor bungs. You will need to get an engine management system like a power commander or Bazzazz unit.

If you did not install this BEFORE you turned the ignition on for the first time odds are you will need to clear the codes. I am not familiar with this model so I do not know if you need to take it to the dealer or if this is something you can do on your own. - Van
