Thinking about ditching that OEM exhaust for a lighter and more powerful full system?

Completely eliminating the motor, valve, cables, etc. not only drops weight and frees up valuable space, but utilizing the Servo Buddy improves reliability by eliminating the common issue of the factory servo motor gears stripping out, or the motor burning up.
A MUST HAVE FOR AFTERMARKET EXHAUST
Servo Buddy utilizes OEM wire harness connectors providing a secure connection with no wire cutting. Most motorcycles will throw an FI code when the stock exhaust is removed. Servo Buddy cures this issue. This allows the rider to see if there is an actual problem when the FI light comes on, not due to an exhaust valve code.

I installed my exhaust without installing my servo buddy and I haven’t had any issues or lights pop up? 2k miles later stilll fine? 2020 r1. Did I just get lucky somehow?

If you dont have a servo buddy me and my boy just put the motor back till the servo buddy came remove the wires of course that lead to that flip to the exhaust and the honda still thought it was fine no check engine light nothing now i only did this till i got my servo buddy. This is on my 2021 cbr1000r.

Hi im planning to put competition werks exhaust will servo buddy give bettter performace if i install it ,wid better air fuel ratio..and run leaner?

The servo buddy does not affect the air fuel ratio, it's function is to tell the ECU that the stock servo motor is still connected so you don't get an FI code on your dash. If you're changing out the stock exhaust for an aftermarket system, that's what really affects the air fuel ratio etc. Any time you change the exhaust, you should re map the fuel injection.

What If i have a slip on exhaust, (servo motor is still under the seat) with no servo buddy, and no codes?

on a 2007 Suzuki GSXR 600, where exactly is this two prong servo buddy plugged under the seat or at the tail section of the bike?

You will want to unplug the stock servo motor and plug the servo buddy into the same connector in the wiring harness

Hi, I have a 2007 ducati 1098 with Termi slip ons, if I fit this how to I make sure the valve stays in thr open position?

What happens if I turn on my bike and rode it for 2 miles? My engine light came on. What do I do after I install my servo to eliminate the engine light off.

Does it matter if we only have slip on and not full system?

It will vary. Slip-Ons normally wouldn't need one but anytime you remove the stock Servo Motor the motorcycle will throw the FI light. A Servo Buddy is needed only when that Servo Motor is replaced. The install of the Servo Buddy must be done in tandem with any exhaust install. Installing a Servo Buddy after the FI light has gone on will not get rid of it.

Woodcraft Technologies. Sorry it does come off even after. I did it and a friend before me did the same. I don’t recommande someone doing the same got a ninja zx636 2018. Was waiting both and I received my Akrapovic exhaust a week before my servo. And I couldn’t wait to get rid of it. So install everything. Light come on as expected. Ride it week like this. Knowing nothing was wrong. When I receive it install it two weeks after, turn bike on and light tuned off. Even on the servo it was saying if the light still on after connection. Unplug battery for a minute et start again but didn’t need to. Don’t just take my word, other videos on KZfaq show people showing how to get rid of the light even after.

I have a 2006 gsxr 600 and the header flapper rusted shut breaking one servo wire that opens it or closes it. Any way i went to KZfaq and seen a guy cut a wire off the servo pig tail and it eliminated my FI light. But i still can get error codes so i guess i saved $49.99 lol
