Sky and Ocean Brown are professional skateboarders and surfers. Sky Brown is youngest skater ever to appear in the Vans US Open, and one of the most popular athletes on social media. At age 11, she is a pro skater and surfer. She is also the first ever winner of Dancing with the Stars: Junior. Sky has been featured on Ellen, Little Big Shots and numerous other talk shows and press outlets. When she's not busy winning competitions, Sky works with Skateistan, a nonprofit organization that empowers kids through education and skating.

Even the most famous skateborder of all time said he was afraid to do it "again" let alone Sky is doing it for the first time just a couple of months after an accident that nearly killed her. She even has a brace on the arm she broke because of the accident.

I'm not a skater, but I have to say that I LOVE how encouraging the whole skating community is! I've watched a bunch of different videos and every time I see someone trying something new everyone around them is so excited and encouraging. Keep on skating, Skye, and we'll see you at Olympics for sure!!

Totally! I'm always hyped seeing people conquer their fears and seeing crowds getting hyped. 🙂 Even though the skate community is considered by others as misfits, we're incredibly welcoming and we love seeing people skate. 🙂

I was pretty sure the young kid was her brother but, are her parents also in this Video? I think it's beautiful how Tony Hawk has a Skate Park in his yard & shares it with everyone. I'm assuming International Visitors are staying at his House. The whole thing is beautiful. Tony Hawk does everything he can to help out other Skater's, but why not he would get just as much back, if not more.

“I think she’s gonna make it”. Little dude was emotional for her. You could tell he believed in her but there was that fear for her safety creeping in and it shook him. You couldn’t ask for a better support structure for attempting a momentous feat like this. She smashed it, but her surroundings provided the absolutely crucial support she needed to take that leap.

Sky is awesome, but I also have to give props to Tony. I grew up in the same era, though slightly younger than him. I’ve skated for companies like Venture, Stubbies and Fogtown. I quit skating in my 20’s but still have a few boards lying around. I jumped on one, rolled down my driveway and almost killed my self. LOL. The fact that he’s doing what he’s doing at 52 is amazing.

She is the Next Tony Hawk! She is SO GOOD for her age! she is going to change the sport when she is older! As much shit as we used to get back in the 90's and 2000's Being a skater and hanging around skaters taught me more life lessons than anything else. Sure, we come off as Punks or vandals or anarchists, but Everyone is so accepting and supportive it really is just a VERY misunderstood group. Probably 2 of the most important things I learned were, to never give up, and to just accept people for who they are.

I used to skateboard but I hit my head on the ground while trying to do a stunt and I need a new skateboard and they are expensive so I actually feel bad. I also think he is gonna buy me a new deck for my 13 birthday next year or for Christmas idk. ahh sky is incredible!! Already going to the olympics at age 12, (happy late bday sky :D), skating with TONY HAWK, and also BEING SO STRONG, BRAVE, INSPIRING, and HELPFUL! I’m doing basketball for my sport and I used to fall and cry right away. But now I learned that you just have to try and try again. And then when I have small little injuries, I think about the ones you have and the pain you must go through versus mine. Plus now, I really wanna go to the NBA, not the WNBA. I mean there’s so many mixed teams of boys and girls, but they separate them at the end, which just doesn’t make sense. Hopefully, one day I’ll get that far and THANK you for helping all of us and do what we love ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Sky!!! I know you probably won’t see this, but you are my idol, and the reason I am still skating! You and Ocean inspire me to become a better skater, and push the limits! You are caring, goofy, positive, strong, brave, talented, pretty, happy, inspiring, and fun. It is my dream to get to skate with you one day. I would love for you to respond to my comment, if you do see it. I am a girl, but you are kinda my celebrity crush or something. It is so inspiring to see a girl a little less than a year younger than me skate and surf so well! You are so talented, Sky when I watch these videos of you I feel like I can do anything. That was amazing, you are improving so much. I have learned a few skateboard tricks after skating for 5 months, and I want to be a pro skater too one day. I wish I could surf, but I don’t live near Oceans. Sky can skate, surf, dance, act in Mani, do martial arts, and she is a famous tiktoker, that is really awesome.
