Hey girl 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ for the front entrance I would definitely put in new doors, definitely dark wooden doors with wrought iron on them to give a more Spanish look and a more luxury/expensive look, especially as that’s the first thing people see coming to your house! And definitely a better chandelier and a much BIGGER one too as that one is too small for that space! I would definitely more Forest upstairs in a room by yours and 100% make that space he is in now into an office , it’s perfect for an office as it has natural lighting and big enough for two people 😍

That first room would be an amazing games room, could have a pool table, arcade games etc.

Why don’t you’s team up with the Aussie ladies from Three Birds Renovations? They do Hampton Style all white Reno’s on KZfaq and their work is absolutely stunning!! And they find solutions for difficult and awkward areas in homes. Just a thought. I trust you’s know what your doing and it means more when you do it yourself. Maybe they could give you some tips, I swear they have some awesome ideas!

You should consider putting bifold doors across that whole downstairs living space so it opens up to the backyard where the pool is. Would make a really good entertainment area. Just an idea :)

Can’t wait to see the end result! 💕 for a big house like that though, I’d definitely have more bedrooms! 3 bedrooms isn’t enough, especially if you’re planning on having more kids and then if guest stay over. Maybe put your filming room in that small room forest is sleeping in and add in another bedroom somewhere. Also the way Lachie described the main bathroom (kids bathroom), it sounded like there wasn’t going to be a bath. Definitely need a bath in the house 😊

The whole video I just couldn’t help but think this house is going to have amazing house parties 😅🎉 also if I had this house I would turn one room into a mini at home gym with a few weights and a big wall mirror etc

Hey girl 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ for the formal room looove the dark flooring sample you have, exactly what I was thinking! Love all your ideas for that space, I would only suggest to take out those swing doors and windows on either side of them and make it again one whole sliding door that slides from one end to the other 😍 will give it a more modern/ luxury look to the space ! For the upstairs staircase how you said your going to get rid of the wasted space , I loooove that idea it will definitely make everything look more open and let in a lot more natural lighting! And would definitely make all those windows bigger 🥰 and take out those random columns, if they are not load bearing 🙈

Hey girl 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ loooove the new future kitchen space, so much natural light which is amazing!! I would move the entrance to the butlers pantry back so it can match the other entry way door on the right so walls are even (making new kitchen a rectangle) .Definitely take down that wall on the middle to extend the kitchen, I would even put two islands in the center as it’s going to be very wide and matching bar stools on both! If you’re not going to keep the terracotta tiles (white is very Spanish by the way) I would put in natural wood or laminate (which is cheaper but looks exactly like wood and lasts a life time/durable) or even a wood look porcelain tile. ❤️ you will have to get rid of some on the doors and windows for new kitchen as you will need wall space to put all the new cabinetry in.. for the fire place I would keep it as it’s very Spanish but i would open it up more as it’s sitting very low and very small ❤️

I've been hanging for this video Skye, and seeing that cute bubba of yours !!! YAAAYYY !!!!!! Love the dress and the sandals, you look gorgeous, but as you always do. Food for thought for you, think about having an architect provide an opinion before you do anything, they just might come up with an idea/s that you guys haven't thought of, even as a walk through not drawing up plans as such, might be worth the cost. And with windows do you double glaze to keep the heat out? maybe worth it at least in the bedrooms. You could put shelving and a seat under next to Foresto's wardrobe. You could make what is Foresto's room downstairs a spare room for guests with a sofa bed. Think about where you can put a large linen cupboard, maybe in your wardrobe or on the same floor as your bedrooms, or in your planned butlers pantry, like they say on the block, storage , storage, storage?? You could consider a bedroom/self contained room/guest house on top of your garage if you want a four/five bedroom house. Love, love , love your house and plans❣️☺️I just thought, what about ducted aircon upstairs ?

I think it's mock orange near the pool, they flower at the beginning of the year, jasmine usually only flowers in september-ish in SEQ, both smell AMAZING though!

the garden outside the kitchen should be a huge herb garden, you can even have some nice raised veggie patches. That way you can step out get fresh produce and get back to cooking inside or even on the BBQ

Omg this is going to be amazing! Make sure when choosing materials, glass, paint, furniture that it doesn’t get dirty easily because stuffff cleaning that house make sure it’s maintainable otherwise you’ll spend a fortune maintaining it

Hey girl 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ for the garden with the cactus 🌵 that your going to plant is definitely Spanish and love that idea!! For the bushes i 100% think you guys should rip them all out, it’s blocking the view of the garden and all the natural light 🙈 you going to spend all that money on doing the cactus garden but then blocking it all with those bushes! And those bushes are blocking the whole view of the pool area, your guests need to see the pool when they walk in and right now they can’t! By the pool area great idea to get rid of that odd retaining wall and level the ground and to built a box around the pool pump equipment! Maybe to add a volleyball net in that back corner behind the pool pump for friends and family to play in gatherings .. also to add more lounge chairs around the pool, dark wood for them to stand out more and create contrast and maybe a dark wooden pergola with slates in the corner where your putting the pizza oven for shade whilst cooking , also have the vines that you love with the purple and pink flowers to creep over it for a little shade and beauty! Inside of sconces on the pillows I would definitely go for some ground up lighting , the way it can highlight/ graze the Columns and created a more updated modern look (sconces are a little old school for gardens ) ❤️

Watched the whole video b/c I love Home Makeovers! Make sure to put a lock on that laundry hamper if you plan on using it, the little one WILL find a way to climb into it!
