Ahhh this is wonderful! A violin-case hurdy gurdy, just what I need to accompany my ukulele-case Appalachian dulcimer

You never cease to amaze me, what a wonderful build!

That sounds great. I have a violin case lying around, I might have a go at this

The construction is essentially the same as the Wren. To join the top to the body, I used CT1 adhesive. the bridges are glued with hide glue ( I stuck masking tape to the bridge areas which makes placing them easier using double sided tape , the vinyl covering is cut off under this he footprint).

I've been thinking of building a hurdy gurdy and I have to say this is probably one of the more unique ones :)

Hi, Do you still sell the wren construction e book? I emailed you a few months ago and haven't got a reply. Might've ended up in junk box.

Neil did you ever consider taking on an apprentice?
@nwbrook2 ай бұрын
Sorry, it’s taken me 40 years so far and I’m still learning!
@darkehorse712 ай бұрын
@@nwbrook I feel like you could just come up with insane but awesome HG ideas and just have your apprentice make them, under your supervision of course.
