That controller is sweet :) they sent me the 3kw solar grid tie for testing I love the way there wireless connect to the internet. that roof mount looks way cool. wonder how much to send me one to western Australia Jeff,

It looks like it is made from receiver hitch stock, but says "Galvanized". Just wondering what the material is. My thoughts would be to somehow make one that would fit to the underside frame of an RV Travel Trailer whereas the square tube would parallel the bottom edge of the RV, then there would be a need for an upper mount "ring" attached to the roof. the pole would extend upwards from the roof however tall one wishes.The pole would be flush against the RV skin with wiring coming from the lowest point. It would also be easy to install and remove when needed. .... just my thoughts ... MAKE THEM !! (and give me a free one for thinking of it)

Would a roof top mount work with a wind turbine if trees are taller than the roof ? how tall of post can be add to it, before making base bigger ? Trees are about 15 to20 feet taller and growing.

My roof is 65 feet long and the peek of the roof is 35 feet from the ground. I live in Cleveland Tennessee. The wind blows around 10 mph most of the time. Is that just a Plastic collar, or some other type of material?? on the shaft I use anti size grease. it works well in many applications. I also use it for auto repair applications like wheel lug nuts, water pump bolts, and so on.. they may want to use a rubber mallet for the nose cone.. :-) that is a great roof mount system... Is that adjustable to any pitch roof?? I have a 3 pitched roof will that work on my House roof... my garage is a 8 pitched roof, but I would love to put a wind turbine on my house roof that is 10 feet Higher than my garage roof. but the house roof is only a 3 pitched roof. so I guess I am asking, what pitched roofs will this setup work with?? great video thank you for this great educational video... thumbs up

Hey Jeff I have a question that seems a little odd to me but I have to ask. How do you keep the power cable inside the pipe from twisting up and breaking when the turbine is turning to ketch the wind? I did not see how it would be hooked up to where it would not happen. I am just woundering

I can tell you just how bad shaky the aleko roof mounts are. I have mine lag bolted to the rafters on my house and the piece of junk shakes like a California quake in winds 10 mph or higher. i'm going to order one of these and another 400 watt sky max next month. if the bolt holes will match up on the aleko mount, i'll replace it as fucking well. I made a new pole for it to fit the skymax, but the base is the problem. they are thin medal and shake very badly.

I made a video of it and can't figure out how to down load it on my new computer. i'll take the camera to Chattanooga with me and down load it there and post it up tonight. if you can't put this roof mount together in under 20 minutes by yourself, STAY ON THE DAMNED GRID!!!! YOU'LL NEVER MAKE IT ON WIND OR SOLAR POWER PERIOD!!!!in 20 minutes time I played with my two pit bulls, drank several shots of bourbon and put this totally together(just hand tight). it is 10 times the roof mount aleko is making!!!! there is no way this unit can shake or wobble like the aleko unit does. AGAIN IF YOU CAN NOT PUT THIS TOGETHER IN 20 MINUTES BY YOURSELF, STAY ON THE FUCKING GRID!! We hear all the time that you can or shouldn't put a turbine on your house or roof because the vibrations will damage your house. is this just more wind turbine lies and nonsense like when they say they kill thousands of birds or they interfere with TV signal?

How many KW of power are these three HAWT's are providing? In addition, for technical reasons, the size of the blades that are installed on this roof top, there will be too much drag for the FIVE blades that are installed. And what is the angle of attack on these blades? HAWT IS ONLY 59.3% efficient Under the Best of Conditions (location, average wind speed, presence of obstruction such as trees and other built structures.) If the owners of this system expect to have free electric bills they would wake up to a rude awakening! Do they know that they need to also purchase storage batteries for storing what little electricity is produced with these poorly engineered HAWT's?! I am sure whoever sold them this system took the time to explain what they should reasonably expect from the system they were purchasing. You would do yourself a favor for explaining to them and setting them straight on REASONABLE EXPECTATIONS for the system they have purchased!
