Meidened mine yesterday. I put a vertical EPP skid plate down the middle of the bottom to keep the prop from hitting during the landings. And a 30 amp ESC because I live in the desert. The additional weight forced me to use a 3s 2200 to make balance. Still floats like a feather. Timer set at 20 minutes. The only hitch on the build was that the prop adapter didn’t match up with the prop. Had to grab parts from the scrap bucket to complete the build. Kit went together very nice. Flys like a dream. Lands at your feet. Great wing.

Just built mine and planning to maiden it on Sunday. Build went OK and quality seems better than DWH (a little bit anyways). Thing that really bothered me was poor paint quality. Just handling it lightly for purposes of assembling led to smearing, smudges and stained hands. Like dyeing Easter eggs. Maybe mine came from a bad batch, but paint shouldn't just smear off like that. Hoping it flies well though.

This wing has been around forever. One of my first planes 15 or so years ago. Although mine was branded by Tech-One. It wash also about half the price back then lol.

I've used some simple, lower powered wings to warm the sticks up too, as you mentioned. As a group they are forgiving and do fly well with some wind, something not all planes like. They can fly slow and they can be quite fast with the right power system. Great fun. I even converted one to a 50mm EDF. Fun with a twist.

I still have my pop wing I got back in 2014. Great plane to learn on. I got into a death spiral with it, split in half, glued it back together and was just fine. Gotta dust it off and take it for a rip now lol

These fly great in low wind. Had to trim some off the wing tip stabilizers to smooth out flight at high speeds. Great to fpv

Almost done building mine. 900MM. Mine came with no instructions . I've seen people using anywhere from a 1000mah to a 2200mah battery. With that in mind. WHERE IS THE C/G, At least a starting point, so I can determine which size battery to use. Let me know please. THANKS.

This type of plane doesnt require a gyro, just fly the thing. This new generation of pilot is scared to fly without a gyro, lol. Thats where most of the fun is, improving your reaction time and skill and feeling proud of your accomplishment and enjoyment. Then when someone compliments you on your piloting, it feels more special than just sitting there twiddling your thumbs and watching the gyro do all the work.

You say the wing doesn't have a gyro, but when you show the setup you explain how you routed your gyro antennas?
