They will paint a picture of a non-event in a way that sets up a 'loser'/ a loss, and then force you to think that you are in some way losing because you have something in common with the loser. In reality, one guy made a choice not to eat, this is not a big deal lol, and people are free to do whatever they want. The media just wants you to think less of yourself and others.

They are his co coworkers. He speaks, jokes and laughs with them everyday, he's not going to fall out with them over fasting and them joking with him. He probably felt a bit awkward though and thats why he stopped eating. I don't think he stopped because they bullied him into it.
