I remember the first time I consumed Netch Jelly. I didn't save in HOURS, so when the camera went into third person I was filled with anger. But then my character got up and things were really awkward LOL

Regarding Paralysis: *Hostile* NPCs don't use the Paralysis spell, but Tolfdir does when training in the Hall of the Elements at the College of Winterhold. And while he doesn't cast while you are in his line of fire, moving into it while the spell is in flight is easy enough that you could do it by accident if you're in a hurry (in my case though, I just wanted to see what would happen). As it turns out, so long as you are lying on the floor you don't count as being in his line of fire... and since the time it takes to stand up is about the same as the time the spell takes to reach you, you can easily spend 5 minutes watching Tolfdir hand your ass to you (he eventually got bored and left). TL;DR: Netch Jelly isn't the only way to be paralysed, and you should take Tolfdir's talk on safety seriously, if only because he is one *sadistic* bastard when annoyed.

For those that don't already know, Netch Jelly can be combined with Whirlwind Sprint for some choice comedy (and alternate fast travel for people playing survival mode!)

When the Dragonborn DLC first came out on Xbox (haha, we got it first) -goes to Solstheim -murders a netch to death just because -loots some netch jelly -eats netch jelly to unlock its first alchemical property -freaks out because I thought I just murdered my own char to death Ah, memories....

Alternative ways to interact with the soul gem to make the ghosts turn on him: Shoot it with an arrow or concussive spell, use Fus-Ro-Dah shout, and my personal favorite: yoink it with telekinesis. Good alternatives if somehow you have a low sneak level (not sure how sneak wouldn't be one of your highest skills, as it's so easy to level).

Just yesterday I discovered something, that I "THINK" you haven't mentioned yet. I was doing the dragonborn questline, I was at the part with the Blades when I had to Save Esbern I talked to him about going to Delphine then I left while he prepared, when I got there Delphine gave me some dialogue that I didn't know about. She told me "You left him alone, with the Thalmor still after him?! Go get him and bring him back NOW!" I don't know if you'll use this, or if you already have. But I thought it was pretty cool that you could just leave him there.

Eat natch jelly right after you whirlwind sprint. If you are over some hills or high on top a building you get some funny instances.

Skyrim VR has added a few new possibilities, such as the ability to fire arrows ridiculously fast (acquire Bound Bow early to really capitalize on the effectively infinite arrows). Because each of your hands moves independently, you can target two different enemies with one-handed weapons or spells. And because your hands can freely pass through solid objects, you can reach inside display cases to acquire the contents without having to unlock them, or reach through blocked doors to reach the bar or switch on the other side.

Another cool thing with the flame spell is that it can be used, at least semi successfully, when out of mana. You simply hold it only long enough to put the fire effect on em. This has honestly saved my butt a ton early game.

Netch jelly seems fun to try. By the way using the glitch to increase your abilities in alchemy with the restoration potion is very interesting when you figure out you can jump off the throat of the world after creating ridiculous armor and health stays and survive with barely any noticeable damage.

Crazy how there is still stuff I'm learning about this game. It's for sure one of the greats

I’m currently playing the fuck out of Skyrim. Literally never played any ES game and I’m really getting into it! Having people post videos about it still after how many years late I was to it makes me feel sooo much better! Glad this game is still very active even after all these years already

The Netch Jelly exploit ROFL. It's kinda similar to Ark Survival Evolved where you can dismount the tamed dino/creature just before hitting the ground and no one takes fall damage :D

The flame spell thing is something I’ve experienced before. I just fiddle with spells as I walk around and I’ve wondered why they get so big.

The first one --- it actually increases the amount of projected light around you as well! I remember doing this a veeeeeery long time ago in the early parts of the game because it was so dark! (At least I'm pretty sure it does? Unless that was a different spell, but I'm pretty sure it was the basic flames one!)

I discovered that the shout "become ethereal" will negate all fall damage. Just use the shout at the edge of a cliff, then jump. Your character will land and make a sound like he/she has taken damage, but no actual damage occurs.

the become etheral shout also is a great way to fly off high cliffs and mountains without taking damage. you know, in case you dont feel like walking back down the 10k steps or need to make a fast getaway

You can also clip through some doors and walls with netch jelly. Power attack animation when dual wielding daggers will make your character clip half way through doors and if you paralyze yourself at that moment, your character can be reset to the other side when the paralysis expires.

aspect of terror perk in illusion tree adds a HUGE 15 point/tick bonus to all of your fire damage. ignite spell normally does 4 points for 15 sec. now it does 19 points for 15 seconds. and stacks with itself. 285 damage per shot.

Interesting that even though I never really used it, I actually recognized the Netch Jelly just by its appearance. I guess it's just that recognizable compared to other alchemy ingredients. I also never would have thought to try and use its effect to save myself from fall damage. I guess I'm just going to have to start carrying around some wherever I go, because that's a nice quick alternative to the Become Ethereal shout for when you want to jump off a mountain....

Awesome! Using netch jelly like that reminds me of Final Fantasy Spirits Within, when they shot the blasts that turned into balls of dissolving goo to land in.

The flame spell animation can also get like that if you were using the spell on an enemy and a "kill cam" activates (which is usually with the last enemy of a group of hostiles, at least from what I've noticed). At the end of the kill cam your hand will continue to be engulfed in a larger flame spell animation than usual, at least until you make use of that hand again.

The 'gently clicking' while using the fire spell is kinda useful! I discovered in my first playthrough when I needed to burn some bee hives for the thieves, I thought they would see me if I used the spell so I tried to click faster right next to the hives and it worked! They were set on fire and I remained undetected

Crouch , jump and in the middle of the jump hold run and dont release it. You will be able to roll even without roll perk.
