@@1r0zz After playing through the dark brotherhood quest 17 times (with 15 completions) I have never encountered a glitch. It's the mods.

@@peterotoole6269 Your kind of people normally dwells in steam forums, you guys that "never encounter any glitch". In my vanilla playtime i had stuff like quest not resolving, and dissappearing NPC. Also in the brotherhood quests. And dragon flying backwards... But you never met any glitch, amirite?

@@1r0zz I had non game-breaking glitches. I did have the "greatswords as fast battle axes" and other mistakes made by the Bethesda dev team (downloaded the Unofficial Patch around a month ago to fix them; it's like playing a new game). Also some CTD's (that was around the time I started modding heavily), accidental deaths by cart (due to the physics engine), and some NPC shenanigans (mostly on later playthroughs where I skipped dialogue, confusing the AI). But nothing like you're describing, which sounds like they were game breaking (especially quests not resolving). Are you sure you didn't use mods or console commands which sequence-broke the game? Or was this in the first week of launch ? The dragon flying backward was patched within the first week. I can't say I've ever heard of quests not resolving on such a large scale, though, first week or no. Stuff like that should be listed on UESP, but it isn't; it could mean the bugs were patched early, but then we're back to the "never encountered a glitch there". I also heard that different rigs can cause bugs; seeing that I was lucky with bugs across the board (including the notoriously buggy Assassin's Creed Unity, in which I only encountered two major bugs in a game known for at least a dozen), it may be that my rig is similar to what a playtester would use; plus I keep everything religiously up to date. Finally, just as a general tip, I also take steps to follow the (sometimes not so clearly stated) instructions to avoid glitches. I can't think of many off the top of my head, but one outstanding one is that you should cap your FPS in Skyrim at 60. Failing to do so can cause timing and physics glitches. I had a friend who forgot to do that, and had their horsecart spinning like a tornado in the opening sequence. I hope you have better luck with bugs in the future!

@@peterotoole6269 rig and driver can cause mainly interaction bugs or glitches (physics bizarrie, crashes on events and similar) I found them, but they are not really what I've meant. now, unless you are the most lucky person in the world, I found hard to belive that you supposedly played skyrim 15 times without encountering any game bug... I mean, one thing that happened to me was that a character disappeared when opening the door of a quest in an event... probably he got sent off somewhere else by the event of opening the door in the script... before I modded the game. Ironically after modding the game skyrim became more "stable", because I used the console to resolve most problems... but once I've seen a monster being launched in the sky when blending in the ragdoll...probably that was the 60fps thing.
