We are back with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim walkthrough, playing a Skyrim mod that adds the second great war into the game. For context at the end of the first Great War, the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion reached a stalemate. This lead to The White-Gold Concordat being signed, its terms heavily favouring the Dominion, outlawing Talos worship in order to deliberately sow seeds of doubt among the empires allies in Skyrim, which lead to the Skyrim Civil War. This quest starts at the end of the Skyrim Civil War questline. The Empire is as weak as it has ever been. The Aldmeri Dominion, never ones to miss an opportunity, declare war once again. With the Empire in ruins and the people of Skyrim already tarnished from war, can anyone stand up to the might of the Dominion? For more new mods check out our mod list!

@@loraelstad8941 honestly from all the shitting each of them is getting and skyrim being my first ever to want to play .. haven't played it yet ... i'm starting to believe that all TES games are equally garbage! everyone is shitting on skyrim, morrowind fans shit on oblivion and on skyrim, oblivion fans shit on skyrim and on morrowind, and both of them shit on daggerfall and on arena ... so the entire series is nothing but a long chain of shitting on each other!

I actually reinstalled the game once, when the special edition came out. Of course you could say it's not a true reinstall, because it's a different version.

The situation in Tamriel after the events of TES V: Skyrim is so interesting. The Emperor murdered by the Dark Brotherhood, the Empire weakened after the civil war with the Nords, Skyrim's canonical allegiance to the Empire still to be announced, the ever-present threat of the Thalmor... I can't wait to know what's next in the lore.

Weakened after the civil war?? The empire has all his forces in the frontier with the thalmor The Emperor to not neglect the border he sent only Tullius and he recruited volunteers locally so the empire soldiers you see in skyrim are just a bunch of farmers

Probably Empire dissaappeared from the map(finally) and divide into independent country(as it should) just like Rome Empire. Weak Empires always have to fall into pieces as our history teach us. Imperials do not have any authority and respect anymore. They need to surrender and let other countries lead human race. We can unite as an independent countries just like European Union. People of Tamriel do not have to be united under some Empire banner anymore. Who said Imperials should dictate Nords or Bretons how to live? They fucked up with Dominium and spread only weakness for example Torryg was a p*ssy milk-imperial-drinker not a true Nord.

@@adrikb1545 I think he means in Skyrim. The Empire's forces in Skyrim are completely pathetic compared to Cyrodiil's main army. The forces in Skyrim are low in numbers and is in majority made out of locals because the Emperor doesn't send any soldiers from Cyrodiil anymore, as we can see in a dialogue with Tullius. I might even suggest that IN NUMBERS, the Stormcloaks might be greater by a significant amount. The economical situation (money) on both side seems to be almost the same aswell (again, in Skyrim, disconsidering the rest of the Empire because they are not involved). So yeah, The Empire is having a really hard time in Skyrim.

Remember what the guards always tell you. "Watch the Skies" traveler - it's a warning and reference to the soundtrack. PS. It's almost 10 years and still we don't know the lyrics of this song. This has to be the biggest secret of this game. You won't even find any videos on this chanel on any other talking about this song on youtube.

Im surprised you didnt find this mod sooner XD . i have it installed and its pretty enjoyable. Just like the Open Civil War mod, The Second Great War also has some fun add on content.

Definietly have to play this mod! Already finished Nord of the Blood and I treat it as a "prolog" to the second great war :) Thus it really enchances my Stormcloaks playthrough mixing these two mods :)

Will be downloading this later! After hearing so much about the thalmor funding the other side your fighting against seemingly to maximise casualties so they can take over easier, it will be very cool to fight them off and defend Skyrim :)
