Had to install a mod that uses SPID to stop everything from dying from spawning 50 ft in the air everywhere I go, a program to cap FPS so the physics engine doesn't poop itself, a mod to fix a massive list of bugs the devs haven't cared to fix for going on 12 years, a mod to better optimize their scripts, a replacer that makes the women not look like men, several animation fixes, engine fixes for bugs that could slowly break the game over time, added an oxygen meter that BGS for whatever reason thought we didn't need, a much better user interface because it seems they forgot how to make those since 2002, rebalanced the game on a massive scale because BGS are good at open worlds but suck at game design, and of course I have a lot of cut content that BGS forgot to restore as paid DLC. Occasionally still crash when bringing up the skills menu, idk. It's at least more stable than Fallout 3 and Oblivion by a lot. A toast to the amazing modders and their passion. 🍷

@@justiciar1964 first of all, drivers can limit fps themselves. As can the sse display fixes mod, which you're apparently using already. Using rtss for that is just 3 IQ. Second, havok timer fix is very easy and has been around for ages. Yes, vanilla Skyrim is a pathetic joke on a technical level, but does it pay to be this cognitively unfortunate?

@@michalmikes5286 i was just modding skyrim yesterday, got the anniversary edition, even the prep work before actual mods feel like work, some mods from old skyrim might not be compatible so i expect some testing sessions, if i'm still in high school like i did when skyrim first came out, i will never be able to understand all this sh@t

I used to play modded; my current playthrough is pretty vanilla/unmodded (aside from SE stuff like the now built-in DLCs, Saints + Seducers, Rare Curios, Survival and Fishing), and I feel like I've discovered so much more in the actual game that I missed before as a result.

Lol this happened to me also when inwould fast travel to that area. As soon as the game loaded a mammoth would be way in the sky and would come crashing down and die lol.

@@clothar23 they are mods to begin with, but if they are preinstalled when you get AE version, it's not vanilla but not modded as well if they are coming straight from devs if you understand what I'm saying, like it's a thin line.

Technically speaking CC content are mods. They just don't disable achievements. Because money ya know. Though the Fishing was free to be fair.
