Hello. I live in south Korea now. I've never seen so many fire engines except for the last few wildfires.

I had nothing to compare it to; I thought what ever was going on was serious, but there wasn't much action other than the police and fire fighters showing up. Someone else in the comments said this was some sort of government building, maybe thats why.

Excellent views showing the building with smoke coming from on apartment. An amazing number of emergency vehicles responding to this fire. I enjoyed in full to the 14:29 end. Thank you, my friend.

I have no idea what a typical response here in Seoul is but this sure was bigger than I expected, they were probably more proactive than anything else. In one part you can see someone standing in the stairwell filing the crew below so I don’t think they evacuated everyone either. Right right timing only because I couldn’t sleep with the time zone change when we landed so that’s lucky!

Wow! You caught a good fire in Calgary and now on the other side of the world. Sweet video

Thanks; just a lucky day for catching the video, but not if you lived there, I guess.

A few days before this video was uploaded, there was a major accident in Itaewon. Police and firefighters were criticized for their incompetence. Maybe that's why a lot of them came.

신고 내용만으로 화재의 규모를 예측하지 않고 초기에 가용가능한 인원들을 먼저 보내고 현장 상황에 짜라 점차 철수 시킴

I don't think so. Lots of people came, and no one leaving, there were people still in the building filming the people below, so I don't think it was too serious.

Inside that building, there was a safe house of the Korea - CIA, so many agencies were dispatched.

Thats interesting, how is it that i tis publicly known to be a safe house? I would have thought that information would be a closely guarded secret? It's also so close to the police station, which if memory serves me right was only one block away.

@@drone_video9849 There are several reasons. I can't go into detail, but I talk about the situation. First of all, there are no technical police officers at the scene of a general fire scene, normal or Traffic police officers are wearing yellow vests or jackets. However, it is seen that even technical police and plainclothes police have been dispatched at this scene. Your area is Jongno-gu, where Gwanghwamun is located, and is around Jongno Police Station. It is an area where the former presidential office and the government complex are located. KOREA-CIA has several safe houses installed in hotels and residences in the Jongno area. Most of the buildings in this area are office buildings, so residential buildings are valuable. The U.S. Embassy is also a five-minute walk away, so it has good access to the CIA HQ in Korea. KOREA-CIA headquarters in Seoul is a 40-minute drive from here.

@@drone_video9849 Nah that was just a joke lol There is a police station a block away but its just a normal apartment
@a1b2c3d4ee9 ай бұрын
@@jaydenmackenzie9670 It's no joke. In fact, it has been found that it is in operation, and since the safe house was abolished under President Park Chung-hee, it has been operated in apartments and officetels, and Lotte Hotel has a safe house under Park Jie-won, the head of the National Intelligence Service.

@@jaydenmackenzie9670 The building also houses a safe house used by a female employee who was involved in the Korea-CIA news comment scandal during the 2012 presidential election.
