good on ya Callum. You're a top notch athlete and a fine example of what a real sportsman is. and it's true, it just didn't go your way tonight, but that doesn't take away from your greatness. I hope that Bivol can knock this bloke off and I really think he can and will.

Its a shame where in Boxing, the fighters are judged by their 20-0 records for example, whereas in Thai Boxing and Kickboxing, nobody cares.....champions fight eachother 5,6,7 times regularly in their careers (Hoost V Aerts) (Saenchai v Nong-O etc) and no'one blinks an eye, yet..... in boxing someone loses ONE fight, and they think its over. Sad times.

I mean its all about the reputation and money. If they are not lose they have more chance to promote themselves more and make more money. But in the end it does not make every fighter having a lot of heart anymore, it is good for them but also a downside of a sport.

Callum actually did really well against a beast in Beterbiev. Beterbievs punches even the ones not full power was hurting Callum.

What went wrong is that you don’t have the power to hurt the fellow. And on the contraire, he’s got the power to hurt you. Don’t need to make it more complex than this. Obviously both have boxing skills. Just one could hurt and the other could not hurt.

Fight was way more complicated than power... not sure where you got this impression from. Beterbiev's timing, jab, and footwork as far as closing the distance was all too much for Smith.

Every boxer/fighter has that epiphany moment, some people quit, some take a break, and others double down and try to improve. You need a huge amount of confidence and self-belief to step into the ring at a high level, as soon as you lose it and replace it with self-doubt, it can end your career.

Difference between being able to see what an opponent is going to throw Vs actually being able to do something about it. Artur is readable in that he isn't a slick speedy boxer, he's just incredibly powerful and applies constant pressure.
