They did play well - for an extremely limited and inferior team. United shouldn’t be at this level with the money they spent, but they are and they were ok on Sunday. We need players with energy and the right character and football brain to help the team, and less injuries, if you look at our team when all the players are fit, if we cleared out 4/5 in the summer and signed 3 or 4 we could be a different team with more energy and improvement all round the pitch, we just need to get rid of the 4/5 that don't have the legs or right character and passion to be at united and sign the right one's who do, but we don't even know if ten hag is staying and we are work in progress, but the 2 signings for upstairs jobs will be a plus surely, then hopefully get rid of the deadwood this summer in some way, and hopefully get a ucl spot for money and it's where we belong.
