Ten Hag has factually had a good record over all. He beat Klopp to 30 league wins. He has 61% wins in all comps. He has dealt with a drawn out injury crisis and a series of high profile controversies. The British media is filled with pundits who hate MUFC.

Alex Ferguson had character. He played father figure to most if not all the players. Players looked up to his guidance because they respected and feared him yet loved him. So that's what a father is in most cases. He's loved, he's respected and someone to be feared if crossed. I think Pep and Klop perhaps are viewed in similar way to some extent. Working with people is complex and you always have to find the method that works and balance

It would be a good fit for Sky, totally suit what they're about. It would allow the press conferences to be less inconvenienced by actual matters related to the game. They must have celebrated when Klopp announced he's leaving, one less difficult coach to deal with concerned primarily with football matters.

He’s gotta be the most disrespected England National Team Manager of all time. People seem to forget what an absolute mess England were before he joined, we was losing to the likes of Iceland. Failing to qualify for the Euros under McLaren, we went through years and years of terrible managers and performances. Southgate brought back the feel good factor, he’s taken us further in tournaments than any other manager besides Alf Ramsey. The players actually want to play for England and they all get along! People seem to think if we appoint another manager we start winning things, it doesn’t work like that. We’ve had much better managers than Southgate for England and they failed terribly! The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Southgate is a perfect fit for England.

Doing well at International level does not make him a good choice for a club manager. he gets the pick of the best of the best as an international manager not the same as a club manager.
