I always did like the idea of refighting bosses in video games because it adds replayability to the game.

The Imprisoned: is anyone else reminded of the Saugage Fingers from Everything Everywhere All At Once?! A couple of tips that I picked up along the way: - For Moldarch ("scorpion boss"), in the second phase, as it emerges out of the sand, I found it much safer to shoot the eye with the Skyward Strike (stab/thrust attack). This allows you to keep your distance, significantly reducing the risk of getting hit by that charge attack. - Tentalus ("squid boss"), I found it much more consistent to charge up the bow for the shot, instead of just spamming arrows. There is certainly enough time to charge the bow as he emerges but before he attacks, and this reduces the risk of annoyingly running out of arrows. - Ghirahim 3 ("pushing-off-platforms-boss"): I found that stabbing him is much more consistent in pushing him back. It reduces the risk of him counter-attacking, and it has better range, so you are a bit further away if he does counter-attack. - Demise ("demon-king boss"): in his second phase, the pattern in this video looks fairly "lucky", in that you always have a charged Skyward Strike to counter his dashes, he doesn't counter-attack in a cheap way after the first Fatal Blow misses (as it always does, by the way), etc. His charging attack is easy to parry (this is never shown in this video due to the favorable pattern, but is pretty much a must during this fight). Just remember not to counter-attack him with your sword, no matter what years of gaming may have taught you about parrying and attacking! I had a hard time doing this fight consistently, even after practicing it several times, so I ended up doing this first, with the potions. He does perverse damage, and I still got hit a bunch of times, so the potion was certainly the right choice for me. Hope this helps someone! 12 years later still can't get the Hylian shield in hero mode. Don't think I ever will. Edit: 1 day later I tried again and I finally did it! After 12 years I got good enough to beat 8 battles in hero mode!! So thrilled! Your tips helped!

The bosses in skyward sword were all really cool, it really puts BOTW to shame.

having to go through the final boss battle after that to actually finish the game sounds ridiculously easy

8:27 I wouldn’t be surprised if it were both. Hero Mode does other things to make the experience harder, other than doubling the damage and not giving hearts without the Heart Medal. Example: You lose twice the air when doing the spin-attack underwater. 25:04 I learned something a few days ago; If you can take out all 8 toes as The Imprisoned climbs, it’ll let go of the ledge and fall back all the same, which can save a shot from The Groosinator. 28:25 I didn’t mention this last time, but Hero Mode’s Skyward Strike is a godsend for blazing through some previously tedious obstacles. They take out Red Bokoblins and Yellow Deku Babas in one shot, and it can reach some Goddess Cubes earlier thanks to its range! 38:08 I don’t think it’s fitting at all! Just because there’s nothing harder doesn’t mean there can’t be _some_ unique reward! How about Magic Armor? Like in Wind Walter HD! The one that puts all of those rupees to good use, unlike here. You can’t even spend this much on anything, unless you intentionally neglected to buy everything from Beetle’s Shop before this (For some odd reason). Even then, you’ll only spend just a little more than half of it! At least other Zelda games had super expensive stuff that was way too hard to purchase even with the best grinding method available. Here, nothing costs more than 1,600 rupees. 38:36 …Good luck with that.

24:33 You can, in fact, land on the Imprisoned's head before it tries to climb the wall. It will try to climb again after you deal the damage it throws you back off, but you still have time to go up the nearest air geyser first.

Hawlo, don't be afraid of ganon's power in breath of the wild, you can certainly do this.

As far as the shield parry timing goes, it feels VERY generous in this game, at least compared to TP. You can bash (I think) about half a second in advance at most and it can still count. Of course, the old Wii Motion controllers were more reliable than the Switch's joy-cons, so that may also be a contributing factor.

I got through the horde battle without getting hit... but that was years ago when I played the wii version.

For the life of myself, I can’t get the shield! This is much harder than it looks, and I just fight the one before Demise with Protection+, and for WHAT? In the Horde Battle, I died and I’m constantly trying to get my shield, because it’s gonna be horrendous for the last fight.

Extremely wonderful job with this part, and talk about intense, but you pulled it off, Though I think I know what Game you speak of, Legend of Zelda, breath of the Wild, if the Game Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity was not proof enough, it is clear that it is Breath of the Wild. Its very easy to beat Ghirahim in under 20 seconds, just do the spinning attack in the way he charges at you in the correct timing and voila, my best time is 13 seconds, just because he kept charging at me and did nothing more than charge, I was very lucky there

Those Silent Realms and Imprisoned fights makes me cry. But of course this game would be too enjoyable without those annoying things :D
