I died when I heard him say this. Sam is calm, composed, and intellectual. I've watched about 10 videos that all have been free of cursing etc. He is sparing with his fbombs; glad to see he is not afraid to use it to make a point.

Heya. Ive been loving these videos so far. I also do the sit-start mount(though its not as versatile as Chongo) Can you do an English version of the Buttbounce guide? That would be ideal, but even just a written English transcription(or German transcription, I can deal with Google's shitty translation) would be much appreciated. Also I really loved the trickline videos, so more of those please ;). Way better than the trick in a minute vids.

Very nice video. Would be nice if you go a little into detail about how you get to sitting on the one foot (the start). When you van not reach the ground. I am having trouble with this part.

Thank you for this video! I have been struggling with the chongo-mount for a while now. Im able to do it but it hurts my knee, I didnt lean on my heel before so I am going to practice that and hope the pain will go away. What mount do you recommend as alternative for the chongo? Thanks again!

I am French and I love you is made its you that makes you want me to make the slackline

Unfortunately sitting on a heel in chongo may not be possible because of individual anatomy. For example, bigger length of lower part of the leg or high volume of muscles. I was doing chongo mount for a year. My ass is not reaching heel by quite big distance. While it is not a problem near the anchor it becomes total disaster when mounting in the middle of the line. Now I am drifting to knee-drop mount, it gives me much more stability in the middle and reduces knee load.

I really enjoyed this video and it was really helpful. I am new to slack lining and I am quite terrible. I was wondering what distance you set up the line in this video
@SlacktivityCh8 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, the beginnerline in that video was 8m long. Don't go too long for the first tries as it will just become shaky. Later you can still go longer!

hey Sam ! thanks for the videos I really enjoy them ... please let me know what would you recommend for equipment to start slakline .. thank you !
@SlacktivityCh7 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew, take a ratchet-line that is not wider than 4cm. Don't go too long at the beginning as you'd just have more to carry around. Between 15 and 30m will do the trick. And for the first tries rig it short and tight. Like 4-5m long. Cheers and enjoy ;-)

Hi there mate! When I put my foot on the line and sit on my heel I feel slight pressure on my knee, is it normal? It seems like there is no twist and I'm actually following your instructions correctly, but I fear I might do some damage.
@SlacktivityCh4 жыл бұрын
Be careful! Take it easy with training if your knee hurts! Every anatomy is different and therefore you have to find your way that does not hurt. A knee is fragile and there is some risk to hurt your ligaments or meniscii. If in doubt about your movement, then I'd recommend to post a video of it on the facebook group "SlackChat", there are many helpful people, some of them physio therapists.

my right leg is my stronger one ... would you recommend to use the right leg behind the left leg ... or doing it as you showed us?
@SlacktivityCh3 жыл бұрын
For that mount it is not super relevant which is your stronger leg. Rather go for the side in which you want to stand after standing up. Or take the more flexible leg as the back-leg. Have fun and good luck!

am i the only one struggling to sit on my heel?
@SlacktivityCh3 жыл бұрын
Nope, this is pretty common. Work on your flexibility until you're able to sit on your heel. This might take a few weeks.
