Slash performs the Godfather Theme at an Armenian Wedding in May 2008. It is an Armenian tradition to throw money on whoever is performing, and it all goes towards the bride and groom. Enjoy as Slash and Greg Hosharian perform their rendition of the Godfather theme.

Slash is a friend of the groom's. The performance was a surprise for the bride..it's an Armenian tradition to throw money on whoever is performing/dancing during the wedding..usually for on the bride though. Glad you are all enjoying the video!

1st off... Slash is not doing this for money.. This is clearly a wedding for a close friend or a relative of a friend. 2nd off.. He does not need to be paid for playing 1 song at 1 wedding with a pianist. I mean have you seen the dudes house??? He is not broke. Have you seen him in nearly every Gibson, Marshall, Ernie Ball magazine ads? I mean Gibson creates a signature or tribut les paul for this dude nearly every year. You don't think he's being paid massive amounts for that signature? Slash is to a point in his career where companies like Gibson and Marshall need him.. He doesn't need them.. This is clearly a wedding gift

Slash's signature models run anywhere from ~3800 dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. And they make them frequently!

The bride is a Slash fan, the father made a surprise to her by inviting Slash to play something. This is really nice from him and the dad too. She even recognized Slash's guitar.

Hashed Prod. nice tones don't come exclusively from giant marshalls walls, if he used a jcm800 full stack he would make the guests deaf!! hahaha. he could use, for example, the SL5C (his signature amp!!) and sound amazing!

That would be so cool to have slash play at my wedding. It would be a git easier to dance to with drums just for foot placement but I like the way this sounds better. Reminds me of the opening scene of the godfather.
