One of the most under appreciated and under rated bands of all time. I knew the first time I heard them they were special. Sadly they came in just as hair metal was exiting stage left. Not sure i would agree joseph. Not that i have heard mark lately, but paul rogers of bad company, amazing soulful vocals and he just gets better with age listen to his live performance of ready for love and after lights which was orginally mott the hooples jam fucking amazing dude. I think it has to do with taking care of your body, resting when needed and no drugs. Drugs steal those gifts very quickly. Also good genes helps. The 80s was a decadant time sex drugs and rock... many vocalists didnt survive keeping their instruments in check. Its important to take care of yourself and enjoy it while you can. Ps i saw slaughter back in 06, small gig and he came right out into the audience and slapped people hands. Pretty amazing and i was one of the lucky ones😊

@@flynntaylor5459 check out some of Mark's latest on youtube. Not good. Can't remember if he had throat surgery or not, but he did get vocal therapy to at least get back to singing. As for Paul, he is still good, but he was never a "screamer" going to a high pitch falsetto. This range causes your throat to get raw and develop "calluses" in your throat. Just an age thing I guess.
