That beginning is so tasteful, but somehow it is still just as heavy and haunting without the guitars and bass... Maybe it’s just because I can remember and therefore imagine the music. AND THAT GONG 😳

Great track, Lombardo was at his peak around seasons, and of course South of heaven is a masterpiece. That picture is Paul Bostaph though.........

Some of the best fills ever. These days I listen to more isolated tracks than full songs. Either just drums, or drums and bass only.
